"Not a problem. Let me know if you need anything else." Doreen smiled and fixed her own tea how she liked it before settling in to drink it in the kitchen, sitting on the counter.

"I will," Thor replied. Then he headed down to take the tea to his brother.

Loki looked up when his door opened again, and he almost made a face. Thor again. What this time? But he didn't speak as Thor made his way in.

Thor just went into the room quietly and set down the tray with the tea on it. Then he picked up Loki's plate from dinner.

"The lady Doreen was kind enough to make some tea for you, brother," he said. "I thought you might enjoy it, although I know not if it will be to your taste."

Loki raised his eyebrows. "Tea?" he questioned, looking at Thor. "Did you prompt that, brother?" He did move over to investigate the tea, though.

"I did not," Thor replied. "She was already in the process of making it when I mentioned your fondness for it. She offered to make a little more for you."

Loki raised his eyebrows at that but didn't say anything else, instead tasting the tea and fixing it to his liking before he nodded his silent thanks.

"Are you comfortable here, brother?" Thor asked after a moment of awkward silence.

"Comfortable enough," Loki said with a shrug. "More comfortable than I'm sure Odin would like me to go." He smiled wryly.

"What Father wants is irrelevant," Thor said. "He is not here, and he left me in charge of your care. So long as the terms of your punishment are upheld, he has no say in how I handle it."

"I didn't expect that from you," Loki said. "You were always so eager to please."

"Perhaps I've had my eyes opened to some things," Thor replied. He watched his brother for a moment. "If you are comfortable enough, brother, then I will leave for the night."

Loki nodded silently, watching his brother leave again. As much as he hated his confinement, even he had to admit it could be worse.

Thor lingered in the hallway a little longer than strictly necessary before he headed to his room.

Up in the living room, Laurel stirred just enough to realize she was still wedged in between Tony and Steve on the couch. She'd fallen asleep at some point during the second movie, and waking up between two well-built men was enough to make her blush brightly and try to slip away again.

Tony mumbled something in his sleep and shifted, while Steve half woke when Laurel moved. But he didn't open his eyes and he didn't move, instead listening. For the moment.

Laurel slipped out from between them, stretched a little, and headed into the kitchen. She could see the light on and she could hear someone moving around, and she had a pretty good idea of who it was.

"Hey," she said softly when she saw Doreen. "Can't sleep?"

"Not tonight," Doreen said with a wry little grin. "I made some tea, though, there should be enough left for another cup, or I can brew more."

"No, I'm good," Laurel said. "But thanks. If I have tea now, I'll be up till dawn." She paused and grinned. "Though I did just wake up snuggled in between two very good-looking men, that was nice."

Doreen laughed quietly. "I had a short but nice conversation with Thor," she said, grinning. "I patted his arm. That man has muscle, it is very, very nice."

Laurel snorted.

"Look at him, the man is a wall of muscle," she said, grinning. "Steve was surprisingly nice to get snuggled up to."

"I bet you'd like to do that again," Doreen teased with a grin.

"I would be a filthy liar if I said I didn't," Laurel replied. "Squished in between him and Tony, that was real nice."

"I bet." Doreen snickered. "I wouldn't mind waking up next to Thor, seems like he'd be good to sleep next to."

"He's probably like a living heater," Laurel mused. She grinned teasingly at Doreen. "You'll have to let me know if you ever manage it."

Doreen snorted. "If it ever happens, you'll be the first to know," she promised, shaking her head. "But I doubt it."
