"The last time we doubted something, it was that our blog would get popular," Laurel pointed out dryly, grinning a bit.

Doreen laughed quietly. "This is I think slightly more impossible than our blog becoming popular," she said, though she was grinning.

"But look how popular we got," Laurel pointed out, grinning. "Let's not bash the impossible just yet."

"I'll drink to that," Doreen said with a grin, taking a sip of her tea.

Laurel laughed a little and then yawned.

"Okay, bedtime," she said, stretching enough to make her joints pop.

"Go sleep," Doreen said with a grin. "I'll make breakfast in the morning, you go sleep."

Laurel nodded, yawning again.

"Waffles," she said as she headed towards the door. "Waffles for breakfast."

"Waffles," Doreen agreed with a grin. She figured she might as well start making batter now for things.

With that, Laurel disappeared to head to bed.

Unsurprisingly, Natasha was the first one to emerge in the morning. She nodded silently to Doreen as she walked into the kitchen, and just as silently started going about making her morning tea. It was a special blend she kept hidden away, just to make sure nobody else took it.

Doreen returned the nod and left her room to work on the counter.

"Waffles or crepes?" she asked, looking over at the assassin.

Natasha considered for a moment.

"Crepes," she replied.

Doreen nodded and pulled out the appropriate pan, heating it up and starting to cook.

"I like your hair," she commented with a little grin. It was still a bit rumpled from sleeping, but it looked cute.

Natasha blinked. She wasn't used to compliments like that just hanging around the tower.

"Thanks," she ventured.

Doreen just shot her a grin and made a few crepes for her, pulling out jam, Nutella, and peanut butter.

"Help yourself," she said, looking over when Steve got back from his run. "Morning, Steve. Waffles or crepes?"

"Uh, waffles," Steve said after a moment, going to turn the coffee pot on.

Clint was the next one to come into the kitchen, just shuffling over to the coffee machine.

"Spike," he whined. "Coffee~"

Natasha just rolled her eyes at him.

"Clint, waffles or crepes?" Doreen deftly slipped Natasha a few more crepes, shooting her a quick grin. Steve just hid his smile behind his cup of coffee.

Clint blinked.

"Waffles?" he ventured. He wasn't even sure what he'd just been asked; his focus had been entirely on coffee.

It took only a few minutes for Doreen to plop a waffle in front of him, and she put another waffle in front of Steve.

"Lor should be up soon too, I think."

"I'm here," Laurel said as she came into the kitchen. Bruce was right behind her. "Oh god waffles, I love waffles."

"I've got plenty left," Doreen said with a grin, making another waffle for her. "Bruce, preferences?"

"What are my choices?" Bruce asked as he made himself some tea.

"Crepes or waffles," Doreen said. "Or there's some fruit in the fridge, or oatmeal, but really waffles and crepes are much more exciting than oatmeal."

"Crepes, I think," Bruce said. He moved over to the fridge and pulled out some of the fruit.

Once everyone else had food, Doreen made herself a waffle and some crepes, and then made whatever was leftover of the batter to set aside for Tony and Thor and, possibly, Loki.

Thor came into the kitchen not long after, and he looked at the breakfast foods curiously. He'd never seen those sorts of things before, but he wasn't sure how to ask what they were.
