Darcy emerged from the color collection with a pretty burgundy color and a small bottle of black that was made for drawing designs. She knew better than to try to glitter up Natasha's nails.

Doreen settled near Laurel as Darcy started on Natasha's nails.

"So this is really fun, we could definitely make this a thing."

"This is already a Thing," Darcy said as she painted. "But we're dragging you both in, too, so it's a new Thing now."

"I guess this is going to be a thing, then," Laurel said, looking at Doreen and shrugging.

"Sounds like a fair thing to me," Doreen said with a grin.

"Next person to say thing is responsible for Thor in the morning." Natasha's lips twitched in a little grin.

"That sounds terrifying."

"You totally don't want to be responsible for Thor in the morning," Darcy said, shaking her head. "Been there, done that, not even a crummy t-shirt for my efforts."

"Right, got it." Doreen grinned and shook her head. "How are the rest of them after drinking?"

"Bruce doesn't drink alcohol," Natasha said.

"And we thought Steve couldn't get drunk," Darcy added. She grinned wickedly. "Until recently, at least."

"What happened recently?" Laurel asked, curious.

"Asgardian mead." Natasha shook her head. "Tony was the only one sober that night."

"Tony was sober?"

"Well, Thor was too."

"How?" Laurel asked. Darcy shrugged.

"Thor's Asgardian," she said. "He's used to the stuff. And Tony wasn't allowed to drink that night." She grinned. "It was awesome, I started a bar fight in the feast hall and got three marriage proposals out of it."

"You didn't start the fight, Steve did," Natasha said. "Remember? He punched Fandral for flirting too much."

"Doesn't matter, got proposed to, and only one of those proposals happened after my dress got pulled down, so two of them were purely for punching people." Darcy beamed.

"Steve punched someone for flirting?" Laurel asked, baffled. "That doesn't make sense, he'd have to punch Tony all the time if that were the only criteria."

"He was drunk when it happened," Natasha said. "It was the first tip-off we had that all was not well. Thor had been giving Steve mead all night."

Doreen grinned. "Oh that had to be the most entertaining night ever."

"It totally was," Darcy said, grinning. "We came back and had Chinese and Girls' Night and Sif hung around with us, it was great."

"I'm voting Chinese for the next Girls' Night, just fyi." Doreen grinned. "Please tell me there's video of that somewhere."

"There is. Some of it is restricted but most of it is fine."

"How restricted?" Laurel asked, curious. Because 'restricted' sounded very interesting indeed.

"Restricted enough that we have to get permission from Tony when he's sober and has been awake for under 48 hours," Natasha said dryly.

Laurel blinked.

"That sounds absolutely scandalous," she said, grinning. "And considering Tony, that's saying something. I love it."

"There was strip poker involved somewhere in the restricted area," Natasha said. "I'm not surprised it's restricted."

"Strip poker," Laurel repeated. "Now I really kind of want to know, and also don't at the same time."

"Bet on don't," Natasha said. "Strip poker with this group is dangerous when we're all sober."

"I'm just going to flat-out say that I don't ever plan to play poker with you," Laurel said. "I'm not great at poker to begin with and I'd rather save myself the torment. But watching you all play poker against each other is something I'd pay money to see."

"Stick around the living room in the evenings and you'll likely see several games," Natasha said with a faint smirk. Incentive provided.

Laurel opened her mouth to agree, and then her brain caught up to the rest of her. She paused, thought for a moment, and blinked when she realized exactly what had happened.

"I just walked right into that," she marveled. "I was led right into that. That's frightening." She looked at Natasha. "That was amazing."

Natasha just dipped her head, a smile pulling at the corners of her mouth.

"Now I understand why no one tries to verbal-joust with you." Doreen also looked rather admiring.

"That was awesome," Laurel said.

Darcy just snickered.

"Yup, Tasha's badass like that," she said.
