"You guys have fun with that if you turn it on," Laurel said, getting up and stretching a bit. "Not quite my thing."

"I did say not tonight," Dori pointed out. "I think we need another cute fun movie, and you're best at picking those."

Laurel grinned a bit at that.

"That's just because I never outgrew them," she said. She thought for a moment, and then turned on Rise of the Guardians.

"Oh, good call," Dori agreed with a grin.

"Really?" Tony made a face but settled in to watch anyway. Steve just snorted quietly and also watched.

Doreen was quiet for the moment, and she had the passing thought that Barnes should be let in on this too. And then she paused. Oh, man. She was in trouble.

Laurel saw Doreen pause, and glanced over at her friend, raising an eyebrow in question. Doreen had been a bit distracted lately, she'd noticed, and she was curious as to why.

Doreen shook her head a bit. Later, she mouthed at Laurel. They could talk about it later. Preferably with lots and lots of soundproofing between them and the rest of the team.

Laurel nodded. She would hold her friend to that. For the moment, she settled in to watch the movie.

After the movie, when people headed off to their own rooms to sleep, Doreen headed down to her and Laurel's floor and went to go make some tea, since they had a little kitchen too.

And, of course, the floors were all soundproofed.

"So what's going on?" Laurel asked as she watched Doreen putter around making tea.

Doreen sighed. "It occurred to me during the movie that Barnes might like them, and he should be able to watch with us," she said quietly.

Laurel considered that for a moment.

"We have access to giant hologram screens and Tony's version of Netflix," she pointed out. "Who says we can't go watch movies with him? And since when do we listen to them?"

"It's not the listening to them and staying out, 'cause I go in there every day," Doreen pointed out. "But he seems kind of lonely. I think he might like the company."

"We can make this happen," Laurel offered. She grinned. "I was considering throwing Ponyo into the cute movies queue, we could settle in with that and some popcorn and your Soviet assassin."

"That should be sufficiently--wait, my Soviet assassin? No, no, bad, that is not, no, why would you even, just no." Doreen turned pink.

Laurel raised an eyebrow, grinning.

"Wow, I was just teasing, chill out," she said. She saw the blush, though, and mentally filed that information away for later.

Doreen huffed and stuck out her tongue before going back to her tea and making herself busy.

"Well, maybe tomorrow we'll go watch Ponyo with him."

"Excellent." Doreen finished her cup of tea and stretched. "I should probably go see if I can get some sleep."

"Go on," Laurel said. "I'm probably going to be up for a while yet." It was late, yes, but she wasn't tired enough to head to bed yet. Instead, she would tend to the blog for a little while. Speculation had been allowed to run rampant for a while, and she needed to head it off.

Doreen nodded and headed back to her room to try and sleep. And keep an eye on the blog when she wasn't sleeping to see if Laurel needed any help.

Laurel seemed to have everything in hand for the moment. She was appeasing the masses with snippets and clips from the Smithsonian archival footage, and letting them speculate on their own about it for a while. It was as close as she could get to telling them who the Winter Soldier was without actually saying anything. After letting them stew on that for a few hours, she also posted a gif of the Roomba in the kitchen.

Everyone loved the Roombas by now, and Doreen snerked at the gif. Ah, the Roombas. They were definitely her buddies.

The Roomba gif went viral very quickly, and Laurel followed it with a small clip of a small pack of them buzzing through the halls. Clearly, the Roombas were popular.

Doreen snorted at that and set her phone aside. Everything else could wait now. She was actually tired for once, tired enough to sleep.

Having sated their followers with the Roombas, at least for the moment, Laurel headed to bed as well. They could figure out what to do about Barnes in the morning.
