i know, right? i am quite surprised more aren't, to be honest. even if they are not as humble and quiet about it like doris day. promoting it would help their career and such

Some do charity work and stuff, but it's mostly to promote themselves. That shouldn't be the point! If you do good, good comes right back to you.
