Guys, guys...I talked to my dance teacher and now we have some options for either altering my top a bit, or wearing one of the advanced girls' stretchy sparkly top and have some of the other girls wear them too so that we look similar. \o/

No, I'm going to go the full 30 days for this thing, because you're supposed to feel really good when you're done, less sick, more energy, etc. Plus, I can't argue with losing eight pounds in a week.

Awww, thank you! It is getting a bit easier. I haven't cried over anything lately. I'm still kinda grumpy and tired, but not nearly as bad as it was.

They say if you can make it past three days of a change like that, it gets a lot easier.

Yeah, for this one, after two weeks, you're supposed to start feeling a lot better and stop craving sugar all the time.

You'll probably notice after a while that just smelling sugar is unpleasant after you stop craving it. I've certainly noticed it whenever we're at the store.

It was easily the most difficult thing to quit consuming. I still will eat a little if there are no options, but it's not like it will trigger a massive glom on sugar fest

Oh god, 90% of my diet normally is carbs. It's very, VERY hard. But it should be worth it. So Elmira, did you do the Paleo diet? Or did you just randomly give up sugar?

That's kind of the idea. Eating like our ancestors did. Lots of meat, veggies, and fruits. No breads, no dairy, no sugar. It's basically the diet I'm on.

I ask because it's funny 'cause once in class, the teacher was looking up something while her computer was hooked up to a projector. One of the suggested searches Google had was "paleolithic diet," and she laughed. I assumed it meant what paleolithic people ate, but I could tell what she thought since she laughed. Now I'm thinking a little bit of both!
