Well, that doesn't work so well for me. I have to make money and pay off my student loans and eventually move out of my parents' house and get some insurance. So yeah, checking out doesn't work out well.

UGH! These boys... jacob always thinks he is just STARVING when he gets home, so today he got into some yogurt (i had forgotten about in the fridge) that expired a month ago. I hope he doesn't get sick now.

Oh god, that is kind of horrifying and funny at the same time. It should be fine. Yogurt is pretty good at preventing its own spoilage for quite some time.

llonka, my kids get into stuff shoved to the back of the fridge and quickly forgotten - we've been pretty lucky since neither have gotten sick yet, but it's definitely an issue regardless of age or whether they can read the expiration date.
