Good luck!
Hmm.. I simply lurk on the interwebs the whole day Today I've got a real craving for fingerless gloves, and I haven't seen them on shops around here. So I'm trying to stitch my own using a pair of socks I've still not completed the first of the two though D: I'm an epic fail when it comes to stitching, and usually it's my younger sister who'd do that for me, but this time, she flatly rejected my requests I'm not blaming her though
Oooh, what about on Amazon or ebay? Though, making your own pair is part of the fun and you'll most likely be proud to wear them later (if they turn out well, lol). Best of luck to you on that, especially with the stitching (practice make perfect?). What color are your gloves going to be?
I guess it's not a bad thing - though college books can be a lot cheaper buying them online, mainly used one (in good condition). I usually check the seller's ratings before I purchase anything - just something to keep in mind.
All I can think of is when they do those birthday songs in restaurants and its noisy and they try to make everyone celebrate for someone they don't know.
Mother making me get all dressed up and arrive early way too early for a college graduation that isn't even MINE. No one's gonna be looking at me. == Worried about finding two seats side by side? Don't bring me, and you'll only need one‼ :OOO My oldest sister isn't going, yet my parents are making me go just because I've never been to a college graduation. Rude and lame.
And then, it's Wednesday, so after the graduation, we'll be going out to dinner! I don't get to go home! I have to waste my time until almost midnight out doing things I don't care two cents about. I have better things to do, and that's way too long for something that doesn't even affect me.
If it were my graduation? I'd still be upset. Not because it doesn't affect me, but because mother would make me dress up under the robe and it would still be too much time to spend out when I could be having fun. I am so done with dinner out twice a week. If we went straight home afterwards, this deal would be that much better.
/oh, I could go on
/but I'd feel silly making a 30-gold post made up entirely of ranting
/which actually sounds like a good trade!
OH, GOSH, MAGGHIA. I don't like that, either. As long as it's all mutually wanted and not too loud, birthdays in public are fine. I could do a second 30-gold post on my experiences with why I say "as long as it's all mutually wanted."
Oh Amane. Unfortunately attending graduations is a social convention. You show people that you care about them by attending their events. Although, it sounds like you don't know anyone graduating, so that's kind of weird.
I think everyone at my graduation, including me, dressed up under their robes. I think there were a few big sillies that wore heels even. EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY "DON'T WEAR HEELS. THE LAWS OF THE WORLD SAY YOU'LL END UP ON YOUR FACE"
I never had a problem with those birthday songs Last year our waiter, a black gentleman, actually sang to me solo. He was AMAZING, the whole restaurant applauded :D
I don't mind people celebrating me at all. But being another patron in the restaurant, it's awkward. You don't know the person, and it's very loud, so I try to look like I'm happy for them, but really I just want the noise to stop.
Nah, a family member's graduating. Sitting for two hours for your one graduate among, like, hundreds of others that you've probably never seen in your life makes no sense to me. Sounds like a social fail. A real celebration would not involve assembling strangers and making them sit through that mess. I would love to leave early. My last name is a B, and we could be OUTTA THERE!
/we could B outta there

DID VIXX SAY FANTASY CONCEPT-DOL? WHAT‽ THERE'S NOT GONNA BE A CUTE AND RELAXED CONCEPT FOR THIS COMEBACK‽ THEY BROKE THE PATTERN, AND THEY'RE GONNA BREAK MY LIFE INTO LITTLE BITTY PIECES. OH, NO. I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THAT'S CONFIRMED INFORMATION YET, AND LOOK AT ME FALL APART WHOOPS.
Heh, yeah. That is always the worst part, for sure. It could be worse though. My sister and my brother in law both graduated with their bachelors from the same university at the same time. The university is ENORMOUS, so they kindly broke the graduation into sections via the college of the degree. So you could leave after your section, which took a few hours anyway. But my sister graduated with a degree in psychology and my brother in law graduated with an engineering degree. And their colleges graduated one after the other. It was SO LONG!
