If the friend is cutting because you got mad at her, it's probably for attention. Don't give it to her. Do not feel bad about having a legitimate issue with something she has done.

She is using self abuse as a means of controlling you. That is abusive behavior toward you. Like a boyfriend threatening to kill himself if you leave. Not okay.

Nope, it doesn't mean you have to tell her everything. Honesty is a must, but not everyone likes telling others everything they do ever. She sounds like a co-dependent friend. She's relying on you for her happiness rather than herself. Not healthy for you at all.
