Well, unfortunately, if it was SAD, you wouldn't like the treatment.

Have fun at classes.

I still have no idea what it is I'm forgetting and it's driving me crazy!

I don't know if it was. I just know that I was in a really down mood and I'm sure that the lack of seasons wasn't helping.
I'll try. I'm going into one "blind" as the teacher hasn't emailed us or anything.
Hopefully you can figure it out!!

Oh jeez. I hate it when you have uncommunicative professors. It's sooo frustrating!

And yay for tidbits! I love learning. I'm constantly researching things.
Right now it's cold and grey too. I actually like this weather.
Seems depressing, but I just find it calming. lol.

We used to have honey, but I think we ran out.

I randomly search stuff when I'm bored, but then sometimes I end up forgetting about what I read. Lol.

Ok, yeah, at least we don't have a text book as she's trying to cut down the cost for students, so that's nice at least. I can always ask my roommate to help me too. Random question, do you know the actress Shoshannah Stern? That's my teacher. No joke.

I wish that we would get snow. (Although that would throw off the locals, and I would just sit and laugh. xD) But it's clear and sunny here, with no clouds and in the 70's. >.< I'm wearing flip flops today, with no jacket. >.< This so isn't right for January. -.- It's throwing me off! XD
I'm surprised it's this cold now. This part of Texas, the weather is really weird. It's usually sunny and warm almost all year round. lol.

I don't mind cold and grey, but it's really depressing looking in Lubbock because the ground is also brown and flat. So there ends up being nothing visually of interest. Plus we could REALLY use the precipitation. The aquifer is soooo looooow.

Sounds kinda like Southern California in term of sun and warmth.

Oh I see. That does sound a bit depressing.
Not that there's any good scenery here, I look out my window and I see houses and dead trees. lol.

Haha, yeah. West Texas is not known for being pretty. Just lots of cotton. It's a really nice place to live, but the pretty parts of Texas are all South and East of us.

So. Flat.

The scenery reminds me of when we're on our way to go visit my grandma at Brownsville.

That's funny, since Brownsville is probably the farthest you could get from Lubbock in Texas. Like I said, it's a really nice place to be. Tons of nice people, lots of education opportunities, a fair amount of culture, and cheap cost of living.

No, it totally isn't. I have driven through Ohio. You guys have hills (some at least) and trees. So many trees compared to us, haha.

Ah, I see. We're miles apart! We're practically on the opposites from each other.
I live near Houston, so lots of city stuff to see. Especially at night when the lights come on.

Haha, yeah. I'm six hours from Dallas, and only because I-20 has such a high speed limit. But it's okay. Almost all Texans are really far away from us here in Texas Tech land.

Totally. I treated it as an English course, so I read everything super thoroughly and took notes, haha. My dad takes my course bible to church when he goes because he likes all my notated flags to easily get to specific parts.
Aaah okay. That's what I was thinking I should be doing... my major is English. It's just the instructor talks as if we should know things about the bible and I sure don't.

Yeah, just treat it like classic literature. It's weird that they're not working you on specific sections.

It is a lot of class and I have two of those length classes, back to back. (That's how it will be both days I have class- I have four 2 hour and 45 minute classes - twice a week.) But it was good. :] Kinda overwhelming, but eh, I survived. One week down... like 17 more to go? I think it's an 18 week term. >.< Too lazy to check. xD LOL!
