it's not always overwhelming
and you will get used to the ebb and flow here
sometimes it can be really slow
but if you ever need someone to chat with you can always come to any RAK threadie
or ping me to where you wanna chat
you know how to ping?
Umm-er-uh... nope I'm still a noob! I mean I heard of it before but I have no idea what it means or how to do it myself.
My old Principal told me she would "pray I didn't get a new job" because she wanted me to stay. Considering she works at a Catholic school...that's just about he most un-Catholic thing she could have said to me >.<
But yeah - I am sooo much happier now :) I love it :D
it is!
and i am offended!
i can't imagine anyone within the Catholic faith saying that to you.
i understand she didn't want to lose a wonderful teacher, but then give her incentives!
not hurtful prayers!

it would have been better if she had said that she prayed that they could get the funding and a sport for you.

There were definitely much better ways to have said she wanted to keep me there. She could have said, "I will pray for you and whatever is to come will come" OR "I'd like to keep you here, what can we do to keep you here?"

yep
'i'll pray for you and God's will be done'
that way she didn't even have to make you feel bad
which is what i feel she was going for, to guilt you into staying

well and I told her - I was looking for a job closer to my family and one that paid 5 days a week (my old school paid 4 days a week but then put all my extra meetings, trainings, and performances on that 5th day that was supposedly my day off - and they never paid me for it).
As much as it sucks to lose a teacher - you should be supportive if they are leaving for good reasons... >.<
