I've been punched repeatedly in the hand, scratched, kicked, very nearly bitten, licked, and have god knows what bodily fluids covering me. And everyone just wants to know if I can come back tomorrow. I never want to come back AGAIN. EVER. I have three more sub times scheduled for that school this year. I'm having a mini panic attack just thinking about it.

oh no. if I were you I would write a letter to the school about her. if you cant talk to some one in the office. she is no aid and she is an added stresser.

Yeah. I'm really not happy with her performance at all. My biggest problem, though, is that I don't think I can handle doing any more jobs at that school, but two friends of the family work there and keep asking me to sub for them. It's really hard for them to get subs for that school because it's all low income kids, on the total opposite side of town from pretty much everyone with enough college credits to BE a substitute teacher. So I feel SO OBLIGATED to say yes. But I really think that I should NOT be in an elementary school. It is NOT a good thing to have pictures in your head of drop kicking kids across the room.

One more scheduled for this same class (the teacher is a friend of the family)...and she's asking for me to come back tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday. Two more for a fifth grade class...the worst behaved year in the entire school ...also for a family friend.

so sad that they dont have the Subs in their area. but for your health you may have to say no.

I'm saying no to the next three days. I'm sick, and I just can't handle it right now. And that TA is guaranteed to be there for those three days. Plus, I'm doing the fifth grade class Tuesday, so I'll be in hell that day anyway. But I don't think I can in good conscience drop the classes I'm already signed up to sub for. I'm just hoping that by the time I'm scheduled to work this particular class again, the regular TAs are back.
Thank you for being so good at listening to me. It is really helping me to get my stress worked out a bit.
