There is the Vidalia onions from Georgia. The skins are a reddish purple in color.

It's a perfect trade. Squirrel can just take all those weird foods I'm too picky for.

I've never seen them being sold anywhere except for Hungry Jacks which is like our Burger King equivalent. I'll give them another go if I ever see them somewhere else!

Yeah, the first picture doesn't look very good, but the second one makes them look pink.

It is interesting that the few Chinese movies that seem to come to the attention of the International film industry or the critics that judge them as worthy of awards like 'best foreign film' and that are the really morbid depressing ones that are visually spectacular but are often violent and don't end well for the protagonists.

And in my personal opinion, The Curse of the Golden Flower was a prime example of that...and the most tragic of them all.

i even went to that town because i love onions so much

I've seen those before the Shriners sell them in May. The reds are from Washington and Oregon they are a varation of the white/yellow onion.I might Google it.
