Don't worry. I don't know why people like onions at all. The ring part is yummy! But it's gross when I accidentally get a bit of onion in my mouth. :<

LOL... hummy: that kitty version of the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (kitty) is adorable!
It is interesting that the few Chinese movies that seem to come to the attention of the International film industry or the critics that judge them as worthy of awards like 'best foreign film' and that are the really morbid depressing ones that are visually spectacular but are often violent and don't end well for the protagonists.
And in my personal opinion, The Curse of the Golden Flower was a prime example of that...and the most tragic of them all.

hmm, all the vadalia's i have ever had were yellow skinned
i even went to that town because i love onions so much

i still love it, and watch it every time i see it
do you have any suggestions for me to watch?
i adore Japanese movies and just recently got into Chinese movies
i also love 'Kung Fu hustle', maybe it's my taste in movies, ya know?

I've seen those before the Shriners sell them in May. The reds are from Washington and Oregon they are a varation of the white/yellow onion.I might Google it.
