And I decided to make a second panda pocket - for a phone, iPod, or whatever - for my cousin in Kentucky - well one of my cousins in Kentucky. :P

Totally excited that they're coming here. My allergies are better, but I have spent most of the morning in my room with my air purifier. The allergy forecast tells me that I don't need to even get too close to windows right now, heh. But as long as I stay indoors, I have some relief!

Thing is, most of the things that I make are other people's patterns - that I got for free so selling them is something I'm not comfortable doing, plus with my crafty moods, I am not even guaranteed to find them or have time to actually make things.

Hrmm, I can see that. I would feel wrong about making money off of someone else's pattern as well. And I am totally only good for art when I'm in the right mood. It's too much work for me otherwise.

That's why people only get them as gifts. Or keep them for myself - which is what most of my projects are - just little things for me, because I felt like making them. :)
Yeah, I have to have my crafty mood to be able to focus properly. And then when I do, I end up doing most of it all in one sitting.

And oh my gosh. I'm so SICK of this wind!! D: We're having 20 mph gusts right now... It's shaking our windows! D:

Yeah, it's always windy here. My sister moved to Chicago, which is supposed to be the "windy city" and said that the winds were nothing like they are here. We just don't have any tall buildings or trees or anything to STOP the wind, so it goes on for miles. And then we get these things called haboobs, which are dust storms so large that they show up on radar. The sky turns orange. It's crazy.

The winds bring in so many allergens around here. And they've knocked over a couple of buildings before.
But to be honest, I've lived here since I was five, so I'm at least used to the winds.
