I think these would beautiful as simple hair pins, Especially for spring and summer. It is just way cute!
What were you planning on doing with them, or are they just a relaxation for you?

Just relaxation (having fun withe the felt that Hummy sent me. :) ). And I feel like they would be too big for a hair pin. But that's just me. Possibly. They're a little bit bigger than the palm of my hand.

Imagine a world without flowers, fruit, grain, grass, birds, basically everything as you know it. Insects are powerful, they are the bottom of the food pyramid, they support everything. Without them everything would collapse. So casual insects are cool and awesome and beautiful and interesting.
Suddenly insects are awful and should never suddenly appear like that. They can go away.

Oh that would make them the perfect size!! (mind you I'm really into pin-up and swing fashion) Pull the hair to the side, or a sweeping updo, or even a braid with one of those. A pretty dress with yellow accents. :3

It's good to have something for relaxation. I have a few crafts myself for that.

Sounds like a case of unwanted suddenly insects. I agree with you. those kinds can stay away.

I really don't like super fashion-y things. I have a friend who pushes that on me and I feel like she wants me to change who I am. I just love sunflowers. And that's why I'm making them. Yeah, I wouldn't be able to make it without the felt from hummy. :] I really don't keep a lot of craft supplies down here at school with me.

Every year when it gets warm, we get a bug in the house in abundance and it's awful. I spent the warmer months of last year hiding from gnats and crying over occasional moths. I never want springtime to hurt me again.

Why? Each person has their own sense of fashion, just like they have their own music tastes. People gravitate to what makes them feel good, whether that's comfort or self image or both. There's no making someone fit that. *shakes head* I just don't get it.

But can you imagine one of your sunflowers tucked up behind her ear, or even on a thick black belt around her waist? I love this dress... I want more. (not me I don't own this dress)
