I went to one of the 8th grade graduations of one of the boys that I used to nanny year before last -- 2012 -- and that marked 10 years since my graduation from that same school... Totally crazy! I ran into a lot of teachers that I had, who still remembered me, because my brother went to that school as well - he started the year after I graduated, so they got to see me a lot because of school related things for him.
There are just days when I feel old. Or it hits me how long it's been since something - like the fact that I've not seen my sister down there in Australia in 2 1/2 years. (she's not actually my sister but she is... we're not biologically related but she feels like a sister, so I just call her that.)
I really need to find a way back down there to visit her again.

I don't think we have kraft, I mean the brand exists but not in peanut butter (that I know of), their known for macaroni though.
Yes, yes I will!
|
That's pretty cool. I can imagine they'd be nicer. Ah, that makes sense. Do you have to sweeten it? I'm too lazy though so I'd probably just put some peanut butter on a block of chocolate, haha.
Aww, that's a shame. It's good. Ah yeah, their blocks of cheese and their cheese spread is kinda creepy.

That's pretty cool that they're all different. We pretty much only have one brand and then like a organic brand, which I've never tried.
Mm additives. There's probably still a bunch in ours. Do you have Kraft? Ohhhh yeah, Reese's where an experience. I swear they were the sweetest things I've ever had. And peanut butter isn't meant to be sweet! It was a great experience haha.
Oo you have some already? You'll be well stocked up.
They're on mine too! But.. I admit I did but these ones I have now over the cinnamon ones when I saw them.
|
Canada has Kraft, but we weirdly don't. We have Jif, Peter Pan, Skippy, Smuckers, all kinds of generic. They come in crunchy, creamy, reduced fat, organic, whipped, and every combination thereof. Generally the "no stir" peanut butters have more sugar than the others, because they lower the fat content so it doesn't separate. Reduced fat is awful (and also really lethal for me...soy allergies).

Aw man, you're missing out! Wow, that's a lot of brands. Ah we have all those types.. But just one brand OH wait, there is one other but it's just like generic or whatever.
..peanut butter separates?! That would be freaky. Oh wow, that's scary. Did not know they'd put soy in peanut butter.

Technically you probably don't. You do even have to seperate the peanut butter from the chocolate. I have a recipe where you add everything together, peanut butter, cocoa powder and some other things stir it up put it in muffin pan and freeze.
For peanut butter we have smuckers, jiffy, peter pan, simple truth (a store brand), and I forget what else. lol Most people find processed cheese especially if its made by kraft creepy.

Haha, yeah, naturally the oils in peanut butter are liquid at room temperature, so it separates out. You just have to stir it up a bit.
Sorry, I'm like a peanut butter connoisseur here. In college, my Biochem teacher did a lot of really intense research on peanut bioengineering to help starving kids in Africa.
Yeah, I didn't know they put soy in Reduced Fat peanut butter either...til I ate like a whole bowl of it and then my throat and face swelled up and I couldn't breathe. That was AWFUL.

Haha, don't worry, I feel the same. Mostly when I see people who are in high school because I still think I look as young as them. I'm so bad at time and age. Aww that's cute, you should try to come back whenever you get the chance.

SO TRUE! They just throw soy at everything. It's sooo annoying. And soy allergies are weird because soy has like 30 different proteins, so you can be allergic to soy processed one way but not another.

The second way sounds the easy way out = the better way haha.
Ah, I think I had Smuckers. So sweet! Haha yeah, it looks so unnatural and orange/yellow and sometimes white! My sister loves the macaroni though.

Yeah, it really did! My parents were really into helping out school when we went there so I was always around. They all look older.. (I wonder why! ) Hahaha! I'll go with one of my friends who graduated form 8th grade the same year as me, and they hardly remember her, yet they remember me. She hates that. xD LOL
Mmm, yeah! Lots of people think I'm still in my teens. >.< Yeah, I've known her since I was in my mid teens, and I flew down there Summer of '11 to see her. She actually has an account on here, and she recently remembered her log in info. I should see if I can get her on here, but she's been busy and in moods due to the heat (understandably). I'm considering asking my mom and dad if they'll pay for me to go back down there for a visit when I finally graduate from college. Give me something to work towards. Although I really also want to go to England... Decisions decisions. :P I definitely do want to come back down there, the flight down there is just sooooo long! O.o But worth it! :)
