oh, Livi do you have a memory jar? that would be an excellent place to post them daily. then you can go back and reread them when you are sad, a smille and a lovely thought will help a little. seven years is a long time, but not in emotional times, ya know. one thought brings you right back there. but dealing with it by thinking of happy times does help me a bit. and when you think Becca is old enough to start hearing stories about her uncle that may help you even more. i hope the memory made you smile tonight, sweetie.

Mum was a lifesaver today, it did help, but at the same time - I'm just so exhausted, mentally and physically, and the nightmares don't help either. It's my life and I've learned to live with it - even though it's not something i'd wish upon anyone, ever. It really is just hard. Harder than words can express really.

One for today that Jon, his boyfriend at the time when Carlie passed, reminded me of at his son's birthday party, was the time when Carlie managed to flip over the couch, like tripped and did a roll - somersault (kinda) - and landed on the floor on the other side, sitting down. And neither of us can remember what was going on to cause that all to happen. Just that we were all kinda like "omg, did that just happen?" and then all three of us busted up laughing.

Aww I know what its like to lose a close person The begining few years months are hard on me ;( I lost my grandma years ago in january and her bday is new years day n then my mom lost her few years back in march n moms bday is march 9th :(

Oh, he was fine. Things like that happened rather often, sadly, that one was the most spectacular, of most of the ones that I can remember, it was the one that stuck out most to Jon, maybe because it didn't happen all that often when he was around - and sadly we didn't have anything out to record it. I wish that we had.
I don't have a memory jar and I keep meaning to make one. I've just not gotten around to actually making one yet.
I do have a journal of a bunch of memories of him, that I've been writing down over the past few years.

Awww! I'm sorry to hear that hon! I lost my twin 7 years ago in November of 2006, and our birthday is on the 23rd, so I'm dealing with that, that's what hummy and I are talking about currently. It really is hard.
