Yeah, iron is something you don't want to screw with. I still really like to eat vegetarian meals. My dad does not understand at all.

To be honest, that's really just bad food. Good vegetarian food is delicious and filled with all sorts of spices and deliciousness.

That's true. I do love bananas fried in coconut oil.

Eggplant Parmesan is delicious. And I love Indian food in general. Properly flavored hummus is good, though I tend to be a more baba ganoush fan.

It can be pretty bad if it isn't spice right, but properly spiced, it's AMAZING.

Ah. Fruits really add a lot to those dishes. So amazing. I'm hesitant about tofu because I've developed an allergy to some soy products (soy milk, most protein bars, and reduced fat peanut butter all majorly affect me). I love tofu, but I haven't tried it since I developed the food allergy.

This one has um.. basil pesto, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes and a whole lot of yummy stuff that I can't remember. I did have one a long time ago that was as bland as... something that's bland . Yeah, it was terrible.

That sounds delicious. I weirdly had some a month ago at Olive Garden that was amazing. One does not expect Olive Garden to be good at hummus, but it was SOOO GOOOD.
Oh god, pesto. I love pesto so much!

I'm now trying to figure out how to tell my boss I need to work day shifts since it's easier for me to get to and from work that way. I have seniority over both of the people working the 7am shift, so she doesn't have a reason to NOT be putting me on days.

But I don't wanna be mean either D:

Yeah! I love finding new ways to bring it into food.
I need to find some basil soon, so I can make more, I'm running low here - I make it in big batches, and then freeze it. And I'm down to only a few jars left. O.o Need more!

I'm mostly afraid she'll start doing to me what she did to a previous employee: She'd schedule me for a shorter shift so he couldn't boot me, then after changing the schedule time was up, she'd put the extra half hour back in.

Granted, this guy was also a jerk >_>

As far as I know, I'm not a jerk.
