Hikari was too excited to even listen to his teasing. She simply darted out the door, looking back only once to make sure her team was following.

Naruto jumped up. "Hey, wait for us! Dattebayo!" He called, running after the girl.

"Those two are something else, I swear," Ark muttered to himself as he grabbed Purgatory's Moonlight from the bottom of his bed before placing it on his back. He had finally thought of an idea that would let him upgrade the weapon and use the swords while the weapon was in it's quarterstaff form. Now all he had to do was find the time to create it. Heading out the door, he turned around to make sure that Amaya was right behind him.

Amaya quickly placed her shoes on and her two tonfa blasters into its holster before quickly following Ark out the door. She had heard rumors about Itachi, one of them saying that he was so handsome that he had to keep fangirls away from him at all times. Another was that he had an unhealthy obsession with a treat known as Pocky.

(because Itachi without pocky is like Naruto without ramen lol)

Principal Ozpin had just woken up, wondering what today would be like. He just hoped that the new menace running around his school wouldn't try attacking anyone anytime in the near future and hoped that Itachi got here soon, not knowing that he was already here...at least not yet.

No sooner had Itachi found Ozpin, then he heard running footsteps headed straight for him. Sighing, he glanced over at the headmaster he had yet to say hello to, then quickly dodged an incoming glomp from one Hikari Starr.

Hikari didn't even notice that Ozpin was right there, at least until her glomp was dodged and her forward momentum sent her crashing into said headmaster. Falling on her bottom, she looked up and promptly sweatdropped. "Ehehehehe...good morning, headmaster." She said, before jumping up and turning to her Sensei. "Itachi-sensei! It's so good to see you again! Where have you been all this time?" She asked.

Still showing the barest minimum of emotion, Itachi replied "The moon, of course." Then he shook his head. "I will speak with you in a moment, Hikari-chan. Remember your manners, and show a little respect for your headmaster." He scolded lightly.

Naruto, who had arrived just in time to see his leader crash into Ozpin, was trying hard not to laugh. "Kari-san, the next thing we work on in training is gonna be your reflexes." He teased.

(*snickers* Phoenix actually saw that happening in his mind as he read it)

Ozpin was about to greet Itachi to his school when he felt one of the students crash into him. Seeing that it was Hikari Starr, he was a little annoyed by her behavior. However, he also knew that this was her favorite teacher she ever had. What? He did research and background checks on everyone before they came to his school (Except for Jeanne who conned his way in...)

Ark saw Hikari on the ground and was curious to hear about the story. However, he knew that now wasn't the time. Hearing Amaya coming from behind him, he had to resist the urge his emotions had for this man. His brother was an attacker on his clan, not the man in front of him. Then again, he was sure that it was a female that attacked his clan's home...maybe Sasuke had help?

Amaya was curious as to what Itachi was going to do while here at Beacon. She had a feeling that he wouldn't just do nothing while waiting for his brother to attack once again.

Turning to the headmaster, Itachi bowed slightly. "Headmaster Ozpin, it is a pleasure to meet you. I assume there is a reason I was called here?" He asked. Every word was carefully chosen, and his tone was cool and formal, as if he was used to being diplomatic.

Hikari didn't miss Ark's expression in that quick second when he first saw Itachi. She knew her sensei looked a lot like his brother, so she wasn't surprised at the reaction. She reached out and patted him on the shoulder as the adults talked. "Are you okay, Ark-san?" She asked quietly.

"There was indeed a reason why I asked for your services Itachi-san. Your brother was seen on campus, attempting to attack a group of students. I don't want a repeat of him and his colleagues trying something here. I also know how well you are at teaching and was wondering if you would also help the students here at Beacon unlock their potentials. Ozpin said, being completely honest.

Ark was about to attack whoever it was that thought it was a good idea to put a hand on his shoulder in the mood that he was in, but quickly stopped that train of thought when he heard Hikari's voice."Thanks for the concern Kari-chan, I'll be fine," he whispered back. Since they couldn't hear the two speaking, he assumed that they couldn't hear them in return. "So...what happened to cause you to be on the ground, hm?"

Itachi raised an eyebrow- the first hint of any real emotion he had shown so far. "My brother? That is a difficult situation. I suppose, under the circumstances, it would be best if I stayed here and taught, as you ask. Is there any particular subject you wish me to teach?" He asked.

Hikari blushed. "I was running to get to Itachi-sensei, but he dodged and I bumped into Ozpin instead..." She said, deciding that it was better to be honest than to have Naruto tell them later.

(that is a real good question, since we only get to see one class...)

Ark smothered most of his laughter, but a light cough did escape him for a few seconds. "I see. Then again, I would probably do the same thing if I were in your shoes," he admitted.

((Wolfie was thinking about what kinds of classes they would have. Probably there is a class about weapons, sos he thought Itachi could teach that one...))

Hikari pouted, knowing that he was trying not to laugh at her. "Yeah, well...Naruto-san said my next lesson will have to be about reflexes. I kind of agree..." She said, embarrassed.

(Phoenix likes this idea and he honestly cannot wait until season two starts in July.)

"I was hoping you could teach a class about weapons: how to create, maintain and use them effectively against different types of Grimm. I know some have already mastered this technique," at this, he paused to look over at Hikari Starr, "But I know of others who either just know how to maintain their weapons, or others who know one skill and not the other."

"If there's one thing I learned in life Kari-chan, it's this 'It might never be better, but it can always be worse," Areku said. "And...reflexes would be a good place to start. I remember the fight with those Beowolves..." he admitted softly.

Itachi caught the glance towards Hikari, and nodded. "This is acceptable. Weaponry is a specialty of mine- I am the one who taught young Hikari-chan about that subject. I am glad that she seems to have remembered my lessons." He said. "When would you have me start?"

Hikari turned bright red and looked away. She wasn't proud at all of her actions in the forest that day, and she was determined that it would never happen again. Still, it hurt to have him bring it up like that.

"Tomorrow, if at all possible," Ozpin replied.

Areku could see the hurt in Hikari's eyes and felt like a real bastard for bringing it up. Though he felt like that was the perfect example to use when it came as to why training your reflexes was a good idea. "At least it won't be like my reflex training...now that was crazy..."

Itachi nodded. "Yes, I think that will work. That should give me time to familiarize myself with the school, and perhaps catch up a little with an old student." He said with a tiny smirk.

Hikari raised an eyebrow. "Do I dare ask what that was like?" She asked.

Ozpin nodded, "Thank you and that would be most appropriate. We can't have our new teacher getting lost after all.

(Phoenix has an idea! Have Itachi ask Amaya to take him on a tour of the school?)

"You had a circle that you couldn't step out of and the others threw blunted knives, or kunai, at you for practice. Once you got good enough with the practice ones, they switched to the real weapon," Areku explained.

Hikari winced. "Wow, that's horrible! I guess you'd have to learn pretty fast, huh?" She said.

Being closer to the adults, Naruto heard the last bit and decided to "help." "Hey, mister Itachi-sensei! I know someone who can show you around! Maya-chan over here already knows the school really well, so she can show you everything, dattebayo!" The blonde said loudly, oblivious to anything besides trying to help.

Hikari looked up sharply. "Naruto-san, you can't just volunteer someone like that!" She chastised. Even if it would give me some time with Ark-san...and maybe get Maya-chan to like someone else... She thought.

"You could say that. Though it usually only took us about a year to get good enough to switch from practice kunai to real kunai. Some took longer, some took shorter. As ninja...reflexes were pretty much our everything." He explained, not paying attention to the two adults before hearing Naruto's loud voice cutting through and saying that Maya could show him around.

"M-me?" Amaya asked, surprised at the suggestion from Naruto. She was actually surprised that he even suggested her in the first place, especially since she knew that Itachi and Hikari had a history together as student and teacher, plus he did say he wanted to catch up with her, or so she assumed from what she overheard. "Well...if Itachi-san is okay with it, then...I guess I can help," she answered after thinking it over for a while.

Raising an eyebrow, Itachi shrugged. "I have no problem with the arrangement. Maya-chan, was it? It is nice to meet you." He said, polite as always.

Hikari shrugged and went with it. "Okay then. Itachi-sensei, I'd like you to formally meet my team. This is Areku Tenjin-san, Naruto Uzumaki-san and Amaya Uzuino-chan. We're team HANA. Team, this is my sensei and good friend, Itachi Uchiha-san." She said.

Naruto, being himself, saluted in greeting. "It's nice to finally meet you Itachi-sensei! Hikari-chan talked like crazy about you, so we were all curious about the kind of guy that could make such an impression on-" The blonde stopped talking when Hikari came up behind him and grabbed him in a headlock.

"Shut up you loudmouth fox or else!" Hikari looked up and smiled nervously. "Ehehehe...pay no attention to the dumb blonde, he just talks without thinking sometimes." She said, embarrassed to be exposed for chattering about her old sensei.

"It could be worse. I remember a certain name you detest being called Kari-chan," Ark said with a light chuckle. "But the fox is right. We're quite curious as to what impressions you've had on our leader here," he said after bowing lightly in greeting.

"A pleasure Itachi-sensei. Kari-chan has told us a lot about you. All good things," she said, quickly adding the last bit in so that Itachi had at least some idea as to what their leader was telling her team. To her though, it sounded as if she were acting like a schoolgirl.

Itachi smirked at his student. "So you still hate that name then, Hikari-chan? I honestly thought you would outgrow that hangup by now. Wait, did he call you "leader?" Why, Kari-chan, I'm proud. I never thought I'd see the day that you were a team leader." He turned to the others. "It is a pleasure to meet you all. I am Itachi Uchiha, and I certainly hope I live up to my student's high praise. Now, miss Amaya-chan, I believe you were going to show me around?"

Hikari blushed bright red. "You're all against me! Traitors!" She cried dramatically. Then she smiled brightly at Itachi. "It's all because of Ark-san. He was chosen as the leader, but he passed it to me. I still don't think I deserve the title, but I'm trying my best!"

"And you're doing great. Now can you let me go?" Naruto said, still being strangled in Hikari's headlock.

"R-right" Amaya said, blushing lightly because of what Itachi called her. "And we aren't traitors Kari-chan, you just didn't get the memo of it being "Pick on the Leader" day. I'm sure Ruby-chan and Juanne-san are getting teased right now as well," she said teasingly.

(Phoenix wishes it was July already so he could watch the new episodes of RWBY. Why did Rooster Teeth have to tease us with the new OP?)

Kari huffed and let Naruto go. "Yet another reason that Ark-san should have stayed leader." She said sulkily.

Itachi shook his head, amused by the antics of the younger generation. "Hikari-chan, I will meet up with you later, after Amaya-chan shows me around." He turned to Maya. "Shall we?"

Amaya nodded before leading him away from the others, not knowing that she was being talked about once they were out of hearing range.

"You two think she has a crush on Itachi-sensei?" Ark asked.

Hikari blinked, startled. She had honestly never thought about that. "Now that you mention it, she does seem a little taken with him. But then, a lot of girls are, at first. Itachi-sensei used to have lots of fangirls, way back when." She shrugged. "Anything's possible, I suppose."

Arms crossed, Naruto seemed to be putting a lot of thought into the question. Finally, he nodded. "Yes, I think she might have a crush on him. She's acting the way she used to around you, Ark-san." He chuckled. "I bet that's good news for Kari-chan, huh?" He teased, earning him a flick on the nose.

"It depends on if I can ask Blake-chan what she thinks about you Naruto-kun?" Ark asked teasingly as he saw Hikari flick his nose.

Amaya led Itachi on a tour around the school, explaining things that she knew happened or were most likely going to happen soon. She tried keeping her blush to a minimum, remembering that Hikari told them he hated his fangirls and the clubs that they created while letting their skills, if any, deteriorate.

Naruto's ears flattened. "Don't ask that, she'll probably say that I'm goofy!" He whined.

"But Naruto-kun, you are goofy." Hikari teased.

Itachi was a perfect gentleman, paying attention to everything Amaya told him and making a few comments along the way. He noticed her blushing, of course- not much escaped his sharp gaze- but it didn't bother him as much as it usually did. "So, miss Amaya-chan, how do you like Beacon so far? Are there any classes you like especially?" He asked politely, attempting to get to know the girl.
