"really? Sweet..." Ruby replied, causing Yang to facepalm entirely and mutter something about a 'Male Ruby...'

Amaya noticed Ark and Hikari enter the cafeteria and nudged Naruto lightly before pointing towards the two.

Naruto looked up and grinned, spotting his last two team mates walking in. "They're pretty much holding hands. I wonder if something happened?" He mused.

At the same time, Hikari spotted their friends. "There they are. Looks like Naruto-san managed to wrangle up team RWBY as well."

"We'll just have to wait and see. And then we can tease them about it," Amaya responded with a grin before turning to the all female team. "So...you all ready for Itachi-san's class?" she asked curiously.

"Looks that way. And the two are probably plotting right now on the best ways of teasing us," he replied as an idea came to him. "Though...we could play a small prank on them, and the whole school, if you want" Areku said with a small smirk.

Hikari raised an eyebrow. "Oh? I'm listening." She said, intrigued.

Naruto chuckled. "I can't wait." He said.

"What would you say about me kissing you right here in front of everyone," he asked softly. While it would be somewhat of a prank to the rest of the school, he did know that he had feelings for the girl. Were they love? He didn't know, but he really did want to find out.

"I've actually heard he created his own weapon, and helped others create theirs. I'm very interested in meeting him," Ruby replied to Amaya's question with a light blush on her face as she conveniently ignored her sister's teasing.

Amaya smirked at Ruby's answer, honestly not surprised at the girl's actions. Though from what she heard...it was actually good to see Ruby being so optimistic instead of depressed. Turning towards Naruto, she let out a grin of her own. "Neither can I"

Hikari felt her heart skip several beats, and she very nearly tripped, but thankfully she managed to keep her cool. "I think that's brilliant." She said. A kiss was the perfect way to see if they had any chemistry. She always imagined that she would know her soul mate by his kiss, that she would feel sparks and hear music. Even if that didn't happen, she figured the kiss itself could be pretty telling.

Naruto chuckled a bit, then turned to Ruby. "You heard right, Ruby-chan. Hikari-chan told us that he helped her create her scissor blades." He confirmed.

"Really? That's impressive," she responded. Now she definitely wanted to meet Itachi.

Areku nodded at the compliment. "Thanks," he said with a light blush. Before he could talk himself out of it, he kissed Hikari on the lips passionately, knowing that this action would make them the top of the gossip column. He just hoped that by doing this, he actually did love her...and not just playing with her feelings.

Even though she knew it was coming, the kiss took Hikari by surprise. It took her breath away. Her reaction was instant and as natural as breathing, she moved a bit closer, placing her hands on his shoulders and kissed back. It felt like there were sparks running through her from every place their skin touched. She was vaguely aware of the rise in noise in the room, but to her it sounded like music. Holy crap, it's exactly like I imagined... She thought.

Naruto was about to answer when, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something shocking. "Oh my God they're kissing!" He shouted, though his voice was lost in the surge of chatter in the cafeteria. Apparently, everyone was seeing this and talking about it. Naruto couldn't blame them, this was kind of huge. Hikari, heiress of the Starr family, and Areku, last of the Tenjin clan, kissing right in front of everyone.

Amaya watched the scene in front of her just like everyone else in the room did. However, unlike the others in the cafeteria who just had looks of surprise reflected in their eyes, Amaya's eyes not only held surprise, but also a little bit of glee as well as worry. "Looks like we have something to definitely tease them about now," she whispered towards Naruto. Though the girl was curious as to what caused this to happen and hoped that Itachi's brother didn't see this event take place.

"Maybe that will be you and Naruto-kun someday, hm?"' Yang whispered after elbowing Blake in the side once the surprise diminished for her. She had to admit that it was fun to tease her partner, especially when it came to the fox faunice sitting next to the black-haired female.

Naruto nodded, though he was a little too surprised to joke at the moment. Sure, he would tease later, but right then he needed a second to absorb what he was seeing.

Although it nearly killed her to do so, Hikari eventually had to pull away for air. Looking up into his eyes, she tried to figure out whether Ark had felt the same thing she had.

In the corner of the cafeteria, Itachi stood and watched. Luckily- or perhaps not so lucky, depending on who you asked- the lighting and distance were just right for him to see what was happening clearly. The older brother in him wanted to march over and yank the boy away from Hikari, but the professional in him prevented him from doing so. He would simply have to talk to Ark later.

Areku wasn't expecting the beating of his heart to increase when he kissed Hikari. Sure he thought he had feelings for her, but that was before the kiss...now, now he knew that he feelings for the captain of Team HANA and wasn't going to let anyone or anything stop him from dating her. He didn't worry about his problems at that moment...all he was focused upon was the erratic beating of his heart and the feeling of her hips upon his. Anything else at that point in time didn't matter. Before long' however, he had to break the kiss due to air. "Well...wow," he said with a light chuckle after gaining his breath back.

Blake ignored her partner while she was being teased, knowing that it was the best course of action at the time. Besides...she and Naruto were just friends though even if she told Yang that, the female faunice knew that the girl wouldn't believe her. Seeing Weiss out of the corner of her eye, she winced lightly, having a feeling that the heiress to Schnee Dust Company would be complaining about the scene.

Weiss was actually surprised as to what she saw, but wisely kept her mouth shut at the public display of action. Though she did shake her head at it all the same. 'Seriously...they do this in a public atmosphere?' she thought to herself as she spotted her teammates and made her way over to them.

Hikari let out a breathless laugh. "Yeah, wow." She replied, still standing close to him. "Ark-san, I have to ask..." She paused. For all she knew, that kiss was just a prank for him, a little trick on their friends. If so, then implying that she felt more might destroy their friendship. No, we're better friends than that. Besides, I've seen enough romantic comedies to know that keeping quiet never works. She thought. So she took the plunge. "That kiss, was it just to put on a show, or did you feel what I felt...?"

"They're talking now. Can anyone read lips?" Naruto asked. Under normal circumstances, his ears would be able to pick up what they were saying, but since the whole cafeteria was still abuzz, he couldn't hear anything.

"At first...it was just a prank so that we could get back at our friends. But even before then I did have feelings for you and with that kiss...those feelings intensified, if that makes any sense," Ark explained while scratching the back of his head nervously. "Why...do you feel the same?" he asked.

"I can," Ruby exclaimed as she read both of their lips. "They're talking about the kiss...and their feelings for each other," Ruby said after reading the two of them. She wasn't going to say anything about that starting as a prank though.

Hikari nodded. "It makes perfect sense to me. And, I do feel the same. Ark-san..." She smiled up at him. "I've liked you since we met. There was a certain way that I always imagined my first kiss, and this was exactly like I imagined...which only confirms my feelings." She said.

Naruto almost squealed. Almost. "Really? What are they saying about the kiss? Was it good? What are their feelings?" He asked excitedly.

"Ugh, relax, fox-boy. You sound like a girl." Weiss said irritably. How could a boy be so hyper all the time?

"Well then...I'm glad that you enjoyed it," Areku said with a grin on his face. He was actually happy that Hikari had the same feelings for him that he did for her.

"Nothing's wrong with acting like a girl Weiss, jeez," Ruby replied before answering Naruto's question. "They enjoyed the kiss between each other and both have feelings for one another, but that's all I'm going to say."

"Likewise." Hikari said with a smile. "Think we should go sit down now?" She asked.

Naruto stuck his tongue out a Weiss, then turned back to Ruby. "That's it? Aw...well, I guess that's enough for now."

"Probably a good idea," Areku responded as he saw Team RWBY, Naruto and Amaya within the crowd of people. For some reason though, he also had a small shiver running up his back as he went to sit down with his teammates

Ruby giggled lightly at Naruto's actions before nodding at the fox's question. Besides, having it halfway be a prank as well as actually enjoying the kiss was something that Ruby figured should only be known to the two of them.

As they approached their friends, Hikari finally noticed all the muttering, which had lowered considerably in volume. So much for staying out of the spotlight. I have a feeling I'll have to get used to this... She thought, doing her best to ignore the crowd. Sitting down, she smiled at their friends as if nothing had happened. "Morning, guys."

Naruto's jaw dropped. "'Morning guys?' That's all you have to say?! Come on, what was that all about? What happened while you guys were alone that triggered...that? I mean, you gotta give us something, dattebayo!" The fox faunice cried, though he kept it quiet enough that only their table could hear him.

Areku noticed all the muttering and other noises going across the cafeteria, but not really caring about the people who knew nothing about him, and only what they've overheard about Hikari. Let them make assumptions, they didn't care. Those were his thoughts anyways as he followed his captain and girlfriend to the table that the others were sitting at. "Morning everyone," he said...silently counting down to Naruto's explosion. 'and there it goes...wait...Amaya-chan too?'

"Morning everyone?! That's all you have to say Areku Tenjin? Surely there's something more at here with what just happened. Especially if it triggered...well, if it triggered that!" she exclaimed. However, she was able to keep it quiet enough so that only the members of Team RWBY, Team JNPR and Team HANA could hear.

"Kari-chan...should I explain or do you want to?" he asked.

Hikari chuckled. "You started all this, so you can explain. I'll jump in if I have to." She said. She was too happy to be all that concerned about her team mate's frustration.

"Alright then," he said with a light chuckle. "After the two of you left, we got to joking around with each other. One thing led to another and we were walking hand in hand towards the cafeteria. The two of us knew that was going to get talked about, Beacon Academy gossip and what not, so we decided what the hell, and gave them something really worth talking about which was that kiss you saw. Seeing your faces now though, I'll have to admit that the prank went off successfully," Ark said with a smirk on his face. He wasn't going to tell them that it was during the kiss that he had cemented his feelings for the girl...

Naruto was the first to react. "WHAAAAAT?!" He yelled, then managed to calm himself down. "That-that was all a prank?! Just to give everyone something to gossip about?! What the heck-" He was cut off by Hikari, who was chuckling.

"Relax, Naruto-san. It started as a prank, but I can assure you that the feelings behind the kiss were real." Hikari said, watching the play of emotions across her friend's faces. "It was worth doing, for more reasons than one. And the looks on your faces were priceless."

"The two of you...did that, as a prank just to see our reactions?" Amaya asked before shaking her head lightly at the two. She honestly couldn't believe them, and placed her hand, palm facing inwards, across her temples. "Light-chan, you sure the feelings you have are real?" she asked, wanting to make sure the kiss wasn't just a prank. She also wanted to get a little bit of petty revenge on them for doing that in the first place.

"You're telling me...you did this just to get gossip going around?" Weiss asked surprised and annoyed at the two. She just couldn't believe that Hikari Starr would stoop so low just to get attention. This was just...actually, there were no words to describe the reaction she was feeling to be honest.

Hikari's eye twitched as she glared at her friend. "Amaya-chan. What did you just call me?" She said, her voice dangerous. It was more of a warning than a question.

Naruto gulped. He didn't know Hikari could get that scary. "N-now, they didn't say it was just for gossip. They said it was a prank, mostly on us. I'm sure the last thing Kari-chan wants is more rumors about her..." He said, trying to ease the tension at the table.

"You heard me Hikari-chan," Amaya replied in an even tone, almost as dangerous as Hikari's was. Almost. She wasn't going to repeat the name that Hikari despised, but at least the ex-faunice hater got her attention before sighing lightly once she heard Naruto speak. "You're probably right Foxy" was all that she said.
