At the table, Hikari looked up to see Amaya walk in. She waved back at the girl, smiling. "Maya-chan is here. I wonder what she was doing? She wasn't in the room this morning." She said.

"Talking with Itachi-sensei perhaps?" Ark asked, wondering if the two had told each other their feelings for one another. Apparently it was obvious to everyone but Amaya and Itachi...

"Maybe." Hikari answered, thinking that it was the most likely scenario.

"Yeah, that's probably it. I wonder if either of them knows how they feel about each other?" Naruto asked.

"Seems unlikely. But only time will tell I guess." Ark replied to Naruto's question.

((Oh, you did NaNo again this year? What kind of story did you write?))

Hikari nodded. "I guess we'll have to wait, then. Still, it's hard not knowing. I want to be excited for them!" She said, smiling dreamily.

"It's like you're the unofficial matchmaker of Beacon..." Naruto said, sweatdropping. "You know you're not cupid, right?" He teased.

(Naruto/RWBY/Toki no Towa (Time and Eternity in the States) crossover. Trying to find someone who knows about T&E so I can get a beta)

Ark couldn't help but laugh at that comment from the fox faunus. "I don't think she's cupid Naruto, she's just good at helping people see each other, right?" he asked Hikari.

((Oh darn! Wolfie would LOVE to be a Beta. Too bad she only knows two of the three mentioned parts.))

Naruto shrugged. "I was just saying, she's a really good matchmaker." He said.

Hikari blushed a little. "Yeah, I guess you could put it like that. I never really thought about it much, I just like to see people happy."

"Well, you definitely do a good job of it," Areku said with a light laugh.

Hikari blushed. "Oh, um...well, thanks." She said. The comment in itself was flattering, but coming from her boyfriend it was even more pleasing.

"You're welcome," Areku replied before hearing the bell for classes starting to ring.

Naruto jumped up instantly. "Class! Let's go!" He yelled, running out of the cafeteria.

Hikari laughed. "That dope. There's no way he's going to be late, with the speed he's running." She said.

"Nope," Ark said with a chuckle. "Hell, he could probably give Ruby a run for her money as well," he added before getting up and heading towards the classrooms. "Though I wonder...if anything else will come up today," he wondered out loud as he followed Naruto to the classroom.

(ugh...why did season/volume 2 have to end with Adam showing up? It's almost as bad as the mid-season finale of Arrow. Also...the only thing that I actually brought over from Time & Eternity is Towa-chan. So if you're still willing to beta...)

Hikari stood up and followed Ark out, headed for the same classes, obviously. "Oh? Why do you say that?" She asked, looking up at him curiously.

((WOLFIE WOULD LOVE TO!!))

"Just a feeling I have," he admitted.

Unbeknownst to anyone, a female was watching the Academy through a set of binoculars. "I finally found you sis..." she said as her ears twitched. Unlike her sister, Whitney Willow did not hide her faunus traits.

(Great. Would you mind if I asked for your e-mail address so that I can e-mail you the chapter?)

((Sure, no problem. Now, Wolfie will admit that she's never been a Beta before. She knows what to do in general, but is there anything specific she should know?))

"Huh. Well, we should be on the lookout then. It's never good to ignore your instincts." Kari replied, just as they got to the classroom door.

Inside the classroom, Naruto was already seated and waving to them, showing them that he had saved three other seats. "Where's Maya-chan? Isn't she with you guys?"

Meanwhile in another room, Itachi was preparing for his first class of the day. First period was a new class that hadn't been introduced to him yet, so he had to do that. Then second period was the class with Amaya and her team, which of course he looked forward to. However, he was a bit on edge, as he, like Ark, had a strange feeling about that day.

(I...usually tend to have problems with run-on sentences, other than that, feel free to look over anything and everything)

"I'm here," Amaya replied as she made herself known to her group. She had to go to the bathroom before class started. Seeing that Naruto had saved her and the other members of their team a seat, she thanked her partner.

((Okay, can do. ))

Naruto gave her a thumb's-up. "No problem. I had to make sure there was space for my team mates, right?" He said.

"Still, thanks Naruto," Ark replied before taking his seat. He still felt as if something was going to happen before the end of the day, he just didn't know what.

"Yeah, we appreciate it. Just accept the thanks." Hikari said, sliding into her seat.

Naruto blushed a little. "Okay. You're welcome." He said, just as the teacher started the class.

Ruby heard the matter between Blake's boyfriend and the others and giggled lightly. Once the teacher came in and started class, she took notes...somewhat anyways.

After what seemed like endless hours, it was finally lunch time. Hikari gathered in the cafeteria with her team mates, looking tired. "I can't believe the day is only half over. Why does it seem like it's just dragging on?" She asked, barely interested with her lunch.

Naruto shrugged. "I don't know, I'm not really having that problem. I just keep feeling strange, like someone's watching me." He said, then spotted Blake. "Hey, Blake-chan! Come sit with us!" He called cheerfully.

Blake had the nagging feeling that she was being watched throughout the whole day so far, and her instincts, both from being a cat faunus and her years in the White Fang, were screaming at her. Hearing her boyfriend asking her to join them, she smiled lightly and headed towards where Naruto and his team were sitting before sitting down next to the fox.

Naruto smiled at his girlfriend. "Hey, Blake-chan! How are you holding up so far today?" He asked, adding her in to the conversation.

"Yeah, is it going as slow for you as it is for me?" Hikari asked.
