That's an RP Request of a different color!

Hello, hello!

So, beyond the obligatory "I want teh rp", what I'm looking for I can only imagine is a little different from the norm.

I used to be a very avid forum rper. Did it for 6-7 years, and was in role plays one might label as "intermediate" or "advanced". Then I became involved in LARP (Live Action Role Play, which is completely awesome, don't believe the stigma, if you haven't tried it you should give it a shot!) two years ago, which quickly became my new obsession. I'm still active in it, but there's a very long "down" season when the campgrounds are closed for the winter (boo ;< ). So, going 5-7 months without my rp fix...lol...I'm going pretty nuts.

Well why don't I just hop on one the rps already made, or jump onto someone else's rp request? Well, I'll explain. It's partially because my tastes have changed and become more focused since I started LARP. But primarily, it's due to my huge style change when it comes to rping via text. With my LARP group, they know me in person. They already know what my character looks like, talks like, walks like, etc. And A LOT of the things we rpers tend to do in a forum rp are (at least from my experience) sorta faux pas to do on the group's forums that we use in between events. I've had to relearn and cut a lot of ingrained habits to fit the group's style, and now, I kinda see the beauty in it.

Sooo, all that being said, I'm now perfectly fine with very short posts, as long as their literate, and quality enough to push the story along. I don't see the point anymore, nor do I have the patience to write 5+ paragraphs and give the entire inner monologue of my character in almost every post. Some people are extremely good at it, I used to have some skill at it, but now, haha. I don't think I can pull it off anymore.

Another thing that I used to do and just don't care for/have the patience for anymore is making character profiles. I'd rather jump right in, and use the rp to learn those things about your character.

And finally, one big issue is I can't be very consistent/active on here. So, I suppose I'm looking for something that's simple, and if it's something that only lasts a few hours or a couple weeks, but dies after that, I'm okay with that. However, I can completely understand that might be a deal breaker for most other people.

In summary, what I'm looking for:

An easy going rp group/partner, who doesn't mind small rp spurts (i.e. rps that may die after a few days lol sry, etc).
Original, High Fantasy plot/story lines. Sorry, I don't really go for fandoms. I don't mind things being inspired by various sources.
Romance is fine, but not required. Not to rock anybody's boat, but I'm only comfortable with rping hetero, as I'm hetero.
Someone cool with shorter word quantity, but still brings good quality.
No character profiles, please.
World "profiles", setting brainstorming etc, is very welcome and encouraged!!
