"It's not silly," Clint said. "I want to go explore, too. Can you imagine what the outside world must be like, without people being in it for so long? Anyone would want to explore that." He waved a hand. "Ignore the grumblers. They just don't like change."

"It is silly though, to want to explore and to be worried about it." Elisa smiled a bit. "But it wouldn't be so bad if I'm with people I know."

"Well, you don't have to worry about that," Clint said. "I'll go. And Tony's gonna go, I guarantee that. So that's two right there."

Elisa smiled and patted his shoulder. "It's a good thing you can deal with me and my weirdness," she said, only half-joking.

Clint snorted.

"You're no weirder than the rest of us," he pointed out. "Gotta admit, we're all pretty weird."

"True," Elisa admitted. "But still." She shook her head. "I'll see you in the morning and we can start planning what we'll need."

Clint nodded.

"See you then," he said. Then he headed off in the general direction of his temple; he had a treehouse nearby that he tended to live in most of the time.

The next morning, Elisa went to go find her group, grinning briefly at everyone.

"They're fairly sure the four of us are going," she said.

"Excellent, we get to go on an adventure." Tony grinned.

"Awesome," Clint said, grinning as well.

"This is going to be amazing," Clara added.

"They're giving us a couple days to get ready," Elisa said.

"Okay, good, we can work with that," Tony said with a grin. "I can work with that, I can have lots of stuff in a few days."

"We're going to need a lot of supplies," Clara said. "Fresh water, foodstuffs, tools, everything. We need to start gathering it all up now, I think."

"I can make things too, canteens and tools and things, you three can gather stuff up and be useful that way." Tony grinned.

Elisa just chuckled, too used to him to take offense.

Clara just rolled her eyes.

"Let me know when the canteens are done, then," she said. "I'll take them to be filled."

"Will do. Or just come by and grab them whenever you want, I'm going to go work on them once we're done." Tony shrugged.

"Alright," Clara said, nodding. "I'll keep checking in."

Tony nodded and finished his breakfast before he got up and headed to his forge again.

It took a little over a day, but they all managed to pack up well enough to go exploring. Once they were packed, Clara and Clint both decided to go and get their gods' blessings for the trip.

Tony and Elisa had the same idea, and everyone ended up spending a while in their temples, getting their gods' blessings. When Elisa emerged, she looked calmer and more confident, going to go wait for the others at the appointed meeting place.

Clara came out of the temple a little awestruck, looking at her hands as if she'd never seen them before. Clint, on the other hand, was practically bouncing, a huge grin on his face.

Tony came out grinning like a loon, a manic gleam in his eyes. He nearly cackled when he saw everyone was there.

"Excellent! All ready now?"

"I think so," Elisa said, looking at the others.

"Ready," Clint said, still a bit bouncy even when he stood still. Clearly, he was pleased with his blessing and was eager to go.

"I'm ready," Clara added. She kept her hands close to herself, but there was a determined gleam in her eye.

Tony nodded and headed for the never-used doors. A few of the older people saw them out, opening the doors and murmuring quick prayers for them before shutting the doors again.

Elisa took a careful, deep breath once she was outside, looking around.

Clara stepped out of the doors cautiously, watching her step very carefully and looking around.

"Wow," she breathed.

Clint went out just as carefully, but his attention was pulled in several different directions at once.

"There are animals everywhere," he muttered as he looked around quickly.

"Different plants out here, too," Elisa murmured, looking around.

"Well, let's start walking and see what we find." Tony started walking, though he wasn't in a hurry. He was looking around too.

Clint nodded and started walking, still looking around wherever he thought he sensed an animal. Clara was even more careful as she walked, making sure not to step on anything that wouldn't appreciate being stepped on.
