Ha, is that just a Brit phrase then? Flesh out... Like as you would flesh out a skeleton to make it a complete body. So flesh out the body of text, or to expand it.

With some of the themes, I didn't think I'd be that interested but reading the descriptive, descriptions made me interested more.

I think it comes from art, Clarius... some people start by sketching kind of a skeleton, and then they draw in the flesh to complete it.

But things can still be hidden
But it only shows the first few lines of the post, posts could be made a long time before hand. Or perhaps we can quote someone else's post, and they would have to find the link to it?

It can be found easily via 'quote', though.

Searching text within a post isn't really going to work well... it's too easy to go to google and type: site:menewsha.com 'phrase you're looking for'

However, it's possible the host for that thread could put an image in longer posts. That would pretty severely limit the number of threads to look through for the image, though. [:\]

OH idea! On another site I saw something where it was a scavanger hunt that provided clues, and you had to screenshot it. Like idk... its a bird in a circle. and you would screenshot the logo that shows up that way.

So on here something could be done like "a cat fishing" . obviously a kind of blunt clue.

We could do find the avatar contests possibly? Kind of like the idea with wheres waldo? Just use someone's muley account for it. Or someone's friend, and so on.

I've done an avatar scavanger hunt before... it was actually quite fun. but i put it on hiatus cause i needed to tweak the rules.

No problem, Aya! I think I just saw you mention art as I was skimming through. Of course, there's no reason not to do both, if you like.

I love making my threads look nice, sticking with a few colors, aligning things, making my own sub-banners and titles, etc. I don't think I'm artsy enough to make banners for everyone. But it sounds like we have some interested artists!

i was talking to someone (clarius or steele? i think..) earlier about that. i think i could make some art, like drawing the host avatars, but i don't know how to make pretty banners for thread toppers. so i'm up for doing the art if people can make it look pretty xD

O_O... Maybe it was Steele? Sometimes I have really bad memory, which is why I like forums so much, cause I can just look up stuff ^_^

I don't have a whole lot of the tools I used to have to make banners and stuff, though I do have lots of pretty fonts to choose from.

my memory is terrible right now due to having two kiddos xD i was kinda guessing at who it had been. :3 it probably wasn't you if you can't remember.

I would LOVE to help. I can host and I can do arts for some of the themes, or avatar art if the themes don't align with my abilities. So, for example, if we did the Hindu celebration or the Arabian Nights as a theme, I could do henna/Middle Eastern designs for siggies, threads, or general art needs. But if, say, we did the Mardi Gras/Carnivale theme, my art skills don't correlate it as well, so I could do avatar arts instea.

Haha, that is such a common problem. I do it all the time! But yeah, it would be a lot better for it to be on the front page rather than trying to scour the pages.
