Prozac works well enough, combined with Xanax for anxiety. I forget to take my Prozac if I don't ritualize it - so I take it every night with ice cream, while watching either anime, Ally McBeal, or X-Files ;)

Paxil works okay for me, but Lexapro and Welbutrin combination worked the best. Unfortunately, the Welbutrin gives me HORRIFIC tinnitus and I can't sleep at all with it. And Lexapro by itself doesn't touch my depression. Paxil has those nice zaps that remind me if I haven't taken it, so I actually use IT to remember my birth control and allergy medicine at night. But I take all of my pills right before bed so I remember. Gotta have those rituals or you forget. And it suuucks when you forget!

Oooh, interesting nominations, Linnea.

Steel: Thanks for the nom :D My mom takes Wellbutrin, and she likes it. I got lucky that it only took 3 tries before we got my meds right. But it took them about 7 yrs to diagnose me with IBS, and my egg allergy. I would drop weight so fast, that even some of my closest friends thought I was doing drugs :/

Linnea: Oh my, those are nice noms!

It took me about four years to get my meds completely right. Which really kind of screwed me over in vet school. But thank god it's right now.

Oh man, IBS AND an egg allergy. That would be wicked unpleasant. I'm glad they finally figured that out!

It would be nice to have more people in here, for sure! We've clearly been a bit stagnated lately.

i'm sure me being a bit flighty lately hasn't helped as i get to updating a bit late each day, but i feel i've been more consistent in that it's at least on the proper day

I feel like you've been a lot more consistent lately. But I think a big part of it is the time of year. It's kind of slow everywhere, so the best way to keep things going is to bring in new blood!

thanks and i'm glad to know it's been noticed when i took over the job, i was doing a lot less in my real life and then suddenly real life sort of swooped in. i used to spend soooo much time here but a lot of the people i used to talk to every day sort of dwindled... perhaps i need to meet new users and chat more with the ones i don't know very well! *fist pump* i think that's a good start!

perhaps tomorrow i shall venture to some new threads!

i do also think you're right in that it's summer outside and more people want to be out enjoying themselves. that's good too

Haha, oh I totally understand! I had not a whole lot going on when I came back to Mene. And now it's like....LIFE EXPLOSION!


It does help keep me going to have people on here I talk to a lot. If my normal threads are kind of quiet, I sometimes don't bother to go into other threads.
