Discworld?

I have most the books in the series, but I've never had the chance to read them all. Just started the first one years ago.

Yeah the Young adult/middle grade Discworld books (wee free men, hat full of sky, etc). Also don't start with Colour of Magic because it is the worst book in the whole series and you don't even have to read them in order. Read Night Watch first, or Equal Rites or something.

I was reading Rincewind the Wizard, and I don't believe I finished it. It is actually because of the Night Watch that I bought the series There is an artist on deviantart that draws the characters from it and I really began to enjoy them, so I wanted to read the books. Found them on ebay for a good price for about 32 of them, so I just got them all at once

It'll be some time before I get the opportunity to read them, however.

yeah if you love the Night Watch characters what you can do is just read the books about the Watch. You won't miss anything important by reading out of order for the most part.

oh i'm sorry i got it wrong, BUT! the blue body made me think of the blue paint they use when they battle and ya know, the whole scottish vibe you have going on
i might have to check out this book series though! i do love a scot inspired story
