Dahlia paid for their food without a word, standing and stretching.

"Shall we head back?" she asked Violet, keeping her voice mild.

"Yeah, let's go," Violet said. She grabbed her purse and slid out of the booth, heading for the door.

Dahlia nodded and let her lead, taking her time and glancing around as she walked. She was sure by the next day, her little face-off with Gold was going to be the talk of the town.

Violet sighed a bit once they were out of the diner.

"That was unpleasant," she commented. "It's way too tense when he's around, it's horrible."

"Yeah," Dahlia agreed. "I don't like him much. He's a damn bully." She huffed and shook her head. "But hopefully we won't have much to do with him."

"The town's not that big," Violet pointed out. She stretched a bit. "Come on, let's head back. Want to head to the studio for a while? I can raised the wards and you can let loose a bit."

"Sure," Dahlia agreed. "Sounds good." She rolled her shoulders, trying to release some tension.

Violet nodded and headed in the direction of the dance studio She had a couple pairs of shoes stashed at the studio, so she could practice for a while when they got there.

Dahlia let her lead the way into the studio. But she did relax a bit once they were inside.

"If any of your sisters are around and it's really fine for me to blow off a bit of steam, they may be in for a bit of a show."

Violet listened for a moment and then grinned.

"Some of them are here, yeah," she said. "There's more than one rehearsal room, though, so I can move us to an empty one if you like."

"Doesn't matter to me," Dahlia said with a shrug. "I can work around anyone who wants to watch."

"Well, let's go see what the others are doing, then," Violet said. "Maybe they're at a stopping point. The wards are already up, so I'm betting it's at least one of the others with Holly."

Dahlia nodded and walked with her into one of the other rehearsal rooms. She did grin a bit when she saw a few of the other sisters.

Violet grinned when she saw Holly and Corinne both with Maria.

"Magic practice?" she asked, going in. All three sisters looked over.

"Yup!" Holly said, grinning.

"Mind if we crash the party?" Violet asked.

Corinne grinned. "Sure," she said, waving them over. "Feel free. What's up?"

Dahlia wandered over as well, already looking more relaxed.

"I figured we could raise the wards and let off some steam," Violet said, already setting down her bag and pulling out a pair of shoes. She grinned. "Dahlia too."

Corinne blinked at that before she grinned. "Should be fun," she said, moving with the other two to take seats off to the side.

Violet grinned and tied her dancing shoes. They were her step dancing shoes this time; she hadn't had the chance to break in a new pair of pointe shoes yet.

Dahlia motioned for her to go first, smiling a little as she frosted over her nails again so they glittered. It was a small thing but it made her feel a bit better.

Maria shooed the younger girls over to sit down and relax a bit as Violet stretched and warmed up. The wards were already up, which meant that Violet could actually relax and practice some. Not big magic, certainly, but it was always good to brush up on the little things.

Dahlia stood back to just watch for the moment, letting Violet have her turn first. Especially since Dahlia was planning on putting on a decently good show.

Violet wasn't going for flair, really. She practiced a few elemental spells, forming some bright sparks and mist in the room before letting them dissipate.

"It feels good to do this again," she commented as she mist cleared.

"It does," Dahlia agreed easily, putting her hand on the nearest mirror and spreading frost across it. "Relaxing."

"Yeah," Violet agreed. She skipped her way through another few dances, just enjoying the steps.

Dahlia grinned and kept frosting the mirrors until none of them were actually visible anymore and the mirrors were instead throwing back rainbows of light through the ice.
