"Not quite. Just clearing things up a bit. But if you want me to leave the snow, I can keep it there for now." Dahlia shrugged.

Violet considered that for a moment, but it was Corinne who spoke up.

"Do you want to build a snowman with us?" she asked, grinning.

Dahlia dropped a fresh pile of snow for them to use and moved over, starting to make a snowman the normal way. So far.

All the girls grinned, even Maria, and they all started working with the snow. Even though none of the sisters had real ice magic, they all knew at least enough to help them work with the snow more efficiently than normal people could.

Dahlia saw that and grinned. At least she'd have a challenge next time she had a snowball fight.

It took several more days, but people started to settle in again throughout town. Positions and routines were established, families reunited, and everyone knew the Charmings were working on a way to get them all back home. Although, for one couple, things weren't quite smoothed out yet.

"Why do you have to say things like that?!"

"I'm only telling the truth! Why are you getting so angry?"

A petite blonde woman stormed out of a building, followed by a taller dark-haired man.

"Anastasia--"

"Don't you 'Anastasia' me, Will Scarlet!" The woman turned around sharply. "I'll have you know I'm still a queen, even here!"

"And a right queen you're acting like," Will retorted. "Ana, love, come on, you have to admit, this town has more queens than it knows what to do with."

Dahlia heard them arguing and paused, listening for a moment. Another queen? Really? The guy was right; there were too many queens in town.

Snorting quietly, she shook her head and started walking again.

"If that's the attitude you're going to take, Will, then don't bother coming back tonight!" Anastasia snapped. She turned on her heel and stalked off, taking strides as long as her slim red skirt would let her.

"Ana, don't be like that!" Will called after her. He sighed, his shoulders slumping. "Great. Wonderful. Looks like I'm headed to the inn tonight. Lovely."

"Need somewhere to stay?" Dahlia asked, looking at him. She surprised herself with the offer.

Will blinked and turned around.

"And who might you be?" he asked. He paused. "...The whole street just heard that, I suppose?"

"Pretty much," Dahlia agreed with humor. "My name is Dahlia. I've got an apartment where you can crash for a few nights if you need. I'm not using the extra room."

"Well, since I'm sure you heard, my name's Will." He looked at her. "You're really going to offer me a room?" he asked. "Just like that? You have no idea who I am. As far as I know, I'm lucky to know who I am."

Dahlia shrugged. "There's a lot of that going around," she said. "It's fine. I don't mind. Besides, you could use a place to stay."

"You're right about that," Will muttered. He sighed. "Dunno why Ana has to be so bloody difficult over this, it's not like I have any control over things."

"Women are difficult," Dahlia said with a shrug. "That's all I can tell you, buddy. Now come on. I need to get back." She shifted her bag of groceries.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming," Will said. He glanced at the groceries. "Need a hand or three with those?"

Dahlia snorted. "You can take this bag if you want." She motioned to the bag she had balanced on top of the others somewhat precariously.

Will shrugged and did so, grabbing the bag before it could fall.

"So is Dahlia your real name?" he asked. "Or the one you were given here?"

"Oddly enough, both," Dahlia said. "Not many people actually knew my name back in the enchanted forest. So I guess I got to keep my name because it wasn't a problem."

"Huh, interesting," Will said. He tilted his head back towards the way Anastasia had gone. "Us too."

"Really?" Dahlia blinked. "Interesting. I know most people had their names changed." She shrugged and headed down the street to her apartment, heading up to her level and juggling bags again to open the door.

"I haven't seen you two around town yet, although that's not too surprising."

"Yeah, well..." Will shrugged. "We weren't exactly expecting to be here. Guess we kind of kept to ourselves until the curse was broken." He looked at her. "What about you? Yours isn't a face I recognize, either."

"I'm not much of a people person normally. Back in the Enchanted Forest I didn't actually have that many people around." Dahlia shrugged as she let him in. "So I kind of kept to myself up until a week or so ago."

"I see," Will said. He stretched a bit. "We were just visiting the Enchanted Forest when the curse hit. Really, we weren't even planning to stay long, and then we ended up here."

Dahlia snorted. "That sucks," she said feelingly. "Well, maybe one day you can get back to wherever you call home."
