Logan hadn't been expecting it, either, and just barely managed to tuck his wings in enough that they didn't get more than bruised. He still landed heavily on a table in a flurry of brick shards and debris.

Most of the diners jumped to their feet with screams and yells. Ivy got up as well, and after a moment her eyes widened.

"Logan?" she asked, clearly surprised as she looked at him. "What the hell?"

Logan rolled off the table, shaking the bits and pieces from his wings.

"Stay in here," he said to her shortly. "Don't come outside until things are settled." Then he headed back through the hole in the wall.

Ivy blinked at that, looking startled, but she didn't go after him. Victor grinned when Logan came back through the hole, glancing in at the diner, since most everyone was leaving the diner.

"Still as hard-headed as ever, I see."

"Yer one to talk," Logan retorted as he moved between Victor and the diner.

Victor just grinned and waited for Logan to come at him again. He'd play for a little longer before taking his leave again.

Logan lunged at Victor, intent on taking him out. He was done playing around. He took a swipe at Victor's wings, going right for the main joint.

Victor pulled back just in time, but blood splattered the concrete. He hissed.

"That hurt," he growled, flexing his fingers so his claws clacked together gently.

"No kidding," Logan snorted. "Hold still, I'll do it again."

Victor growled but took off up the nearest building for now. Enough playing for one day. He'd let his little brother be for a while.

Logan snarled and resisted the urge to follow. Instead, he headed inside to see if Ivy was alright, his claws disappearing back into his knuckles.

Ivy was helping some of the remaining staff to right tables and clean up the restaurant. Her wings were stiff with unease but she was working on getting the staff to calm down again and get relaxed again.

Logan's wings were pulled in tight as he approached Ivy.

"You alright?" he asked her.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Ivy said, glancing over at him and picking up a table to right it again. "The hell was that?"

"Someone I used to know," Logan said, helping her set the table back upright. "Tryin' to start trouble."

"Trying?" Ivy asked dryly, glancing meaningfully around the diner. But she relaxed slowly as they talked.

"Nobody got hurt," Logan pointed out as he picked up another table. He flipped it over easily.

"Thankfully," Ivy agreed. "Except you." She looked at him, raising an eyebrow but not demanding any information.

"Nah, I'm not hurt," Logan replied. "Takes a lot more'n a wall to hurt me."

"Apparently." Ivy shook her head and grabbed a broom, starting to sweep up. "Grab the dust pan and a trash can for me please?"

Logan did so, and then went back to moving furniture around. He occasionally shook dust from his wings as he went. There was one table that was so damaged, there was no saving it, and he ended up having to pull out his claws to slice it in half to get it out the door. He wasn't secretive about his mutation, really, so he didn't care that he was using his claws now.

Ivy did watch that with interest, but she still didn't ask any questions as she helped set the diner to rights and get everything cleaned up. Or as cleaned up as possible with a hole in the wall and one of the doors broken.

Once the place was cleaned up, Logan lingered outside for Ivy. He really didn't feel like putting up with the dirty looks he was sure the owners were sending him.

Ivy had a quick chat with the owners after she was done before she went to go join Logan again.

"Well, that was exciting."

"If fights are yer kind of thing, I guess," Logan replied. "Just wish I'd'a been able to give Victor what he deserves."
