I don't think BTOB has come out with anything MVs since Thriller, which I didn't really
like that much. Anybody else's thoughts? I loved all their consecutive singles before it
Sharing is caring time!!
Something I'm not gaga over, but I enjoy;
And yesterday I found that I like this song. Very pretty!
I'm subbed to a crap ton of Kpop related channels and check my subs daily
But sometimes I learn something new by checking kpop news sites, & once
in a while I stumble across a new song from a channel I'm not subbed to xD
SPICA is a very spicy fun group. The funky instrumental of You Don't Love Me
reminds me a bit of the style of Twinkle by TaeTiSeo. It's definitely interesting~
I haven't listened to any of their songs, aside from the new one, in a while.
*goes to do so*
Have you ever listened to EXID? I adore their song I Feel Good, it's a party song
But I also really really like their song Every Night. I love their rapper, LE *fangirls*
I don't remember their debut, but I remember stumbling across their first song and
thinking 'Meh' and moved on xD It wasn't until their later singles that I started liking them
If I ever met Ren in person I'd probably blush hardcore and not know what to say
I'd want to pet his hair and just stare at his godly face (o wo)
See, I'm not like that. If I met Ren, I'd probably just want to be noticed. I wouldn't be able to think of anything to say other than "I really like NU'EST." XDX
Recently I saw a gif where a fan whispered to Key that he was handsome and then ran away giggling, and Key stared after her, looking a little surprised. It's actually really interesting to see.
I think the reason I can't stay interested in Japanese groups is because I don't know of any shows I might see them on. It's not like K-pop! /this is based on a lack of knowledge of J-pop
Lol I snipped my rambling into a spoiler bar, so it doesn't scare people away
*doesn't want to be a thread killer*
SPOILERX
I like Japanese female idol groups. There aren't many male ones to follow lol
The kind of promotional and fan-related things they do, jpop vs kpop, is different.
There are some TV shows (can't name'em) that they go on. They sometimes partake in games, Morning Musume
especially. Groups do handshake events, perform in malls and shopping centers. Groups like AKB have their very
own theater in which they have small scale performances every single night. So does Alice Juban, I believe
Jpop idols are very much about catering to the wotas. There are A TON of indie idol groups that are prefecture based,
that may never sign under a major label, but still put out some amateur MVs and do a ton of ground work, lots of
lives that build up a fan base for them. There are so many options when you're looking into Jpop.
With kpop I think that most groups that debut yearly do so under some known company or other. If they end
up being one-shot groups, that's usually the end of it. In jpop, a lot of groups build themselves up before official
debut and once signed usually keep going. Not all of them make it, of course. And some are created through
auditions held by giant companies who want to put out another killer girl group. Also sometimes you'll find girls
that when their current group disbands for whatever reason, will join another one and keep on idoling
OMG I'M RAMBLING SO BAD SORRY
My point being that most kpop groups get some kind of notice with debut, even if they end up not being popular.
It's the same with jpop groups that come from avex, Lantis, Pony Canyon, UMJ, etc.
But the majority of jpop beginner groups are underground until enough people notice their awesomeness.
The sheer number of them is mind boggling~

I got SPICA's song stuck in my head again.
As I watch VIXX TV. I'm in the On & On era videos, and I don't know if the tears are from laughter or being overwhelmed by how beautiful they all were then.
