Athena flinched as the fire touched her arms and legs " Just give in love and you can be my queen forever." " I'm not stupid." she glared at the fire slapping it away from her amulet " Don't touch." she snarled.

Mordecai saw this, and pulled his bow off his back. He shot an arrow at the flames, freezing them in place.

The frozen fire kept moving " Come princess don't be shy." Athena shivered as the cold hit her arm " Get off." she growled. " Kill those mean demons with your massive power." The fire ripped her necklace off Athena struggled to control her magic as it shot from her hands nearly hitting Xhast.

Mordecai grabbed finx, and jumped away from the flames.

The flames followed Athena was shaking as the last of her mage flew towards the demons who exploded in pretty colors. She sagged in his arms breathing hard. She whimpered when the icy flames touched her leg.

Mordecai sent the flames into a demon trap, and started wailing on it with all his magic. Nature mages were inherently powerful, but backed by a demon, he was overwhelming. "Die....die....die..."

The flames flickered and went out with a hiss. Athena clung to his arm shaking slightly.

Mordecai held her, staring around. "Shh its over"

Athena shook her head "It's not over until I leave." she said looking away.

"No."he said, taking her hands. "Stay here, with me."he said

" I don't want to." Athena pulled her hand away " I don't like you."

"Wht can i do, to convince you too stay?"he asked.

" Let me go." Athena said " I don't want to stay here as your mage and I can't just quiet so I have to run to another country where no one can touch me and my mother."
