" Why should I?" Athena raised her eyebrow. " You haven't done anything to kill me." she shrugged " I don't go around killing people who don't start it."

" You asking me to kill you?" Athena grinned " That's to easy. Be more fun to leave you alive."

"Then why not fight with me?" He asked

" Because I don't want to." Athena snapped losing her patience quickly.

"No. Fight with me. Come with me,and help me take back the throne"he said.

" Your serious." Athena sighed " Look I don't know how much you know about mages but I may be the most powerful mage but it also saps my energy quicker. You would be better off with a water mage or fire mage."

"I need someone I can trust. I need someone who knows how to fight, and someone who knows how to use their brain. "he said.

" then you need a brain mage." Athena said with a smirk " You can't trust me. I am a demonic mage after all I'm dangerous."

"If I couldn't trust you, why didn't you kill my ass, 10 times over? "he countered.

" Don't tempt me." Athena chuckled " You aren't worth the trouble I would have to go threw."

"Then join me. You'll have many enemy's to kill, and you'll improve the image for mages."he said.

Athena looked at him "Alright I'll go if only to shut you up." she sighed " Let me pack a bag." she went back to her cottage and gathered what she needed a couple books, potions, gems, chalk, and herbs. She also packed cloths and food " There." she sighed.

You See Mordecai backed by 5 others. 2 of them were Warder's as well, but the other 3 belonged to the Blade-Masters, Mercenary's of unquestionable skill. "Thought I'd get some extra help.....oh, and those two are with you, I presume?" he asked, pointing to two mages, who were tied up.

Athena rolled her eyes " Yes." she shook her head at them " Traitor." the guy snarled " Oh do be quiet. I'm doing whats best for all of us." Athena looked at the girl they were like sisters " I understand sister. I want to help." she looked at Mordecai " I'm a healing mage my name is Lorinda."

"I'm Trapper Mordecai, head Warder of this forest.....and the rightful king. "he said. The other two Warder's, and the blade masters, looked at him. Mordecai then took off his hood, and revealed Bronze knotted hair. You could see he descended from Noble Blood.

" Oh a prince." Lori sighed " how romantic." Athena shook her head at her as she untied her. " What about Derek?" Lori asked looking at the guy. " Leave him." Athena said " he won't listen to reason." " The last of the royals I thought..." Derek looked at Athena " Never mind." " Never mind what?" Athena blinked at him.

"Do you have something to say, Mage?" Mordecai said, holding his dagger up to him.

" No." Derek grinned his teeth then flinched from Athenas aura " Alright we thought your father had killed all the royals." Athena blinked that's why the symbol had looked familiar " Oh lord." she reached into her pocket and pulled out a locket with the crest on it. It was faded and couldn't be seen clearly but to someone who had grown up looking at it, it was unmistakable.

"Your what?!?!"Mordecai put his dagger away.

" Look I never meet the guy I just heard rumors about his alright." Athena said cringing " I didn't know my mother either so for all I know she was in on it to. I was raised by a group of mages this is the first I'm hearing about my supposed daddy did. The only thing I have is this." she held out the locket.

"Son of a bitch.....wait....waaaaiiiiittttt.....I have plan." He said. "Your probably not going to like it."he said.

" I already don't like it when you said I won't like it." Athena smirked letting Lori take her hand.

"Claim relation towards the king, and he'd be forced to acknowledge you. Then I put an arrow in his head.

" Whoa wait the king is the guy how killed your parents?" Athena said staring at him " Your kidding right?"
