Xhast sat back. "so, what's the verdict?"he asked, referring to Athena.

"The babies fine about two-three days old." Athena looked away. "I'll talk to your human when we get back."

Xhast looked at her. "You know, if you're going to lie properly, you can't look away. It's a dead giveaway. "he said, pulling out a strange looking weapon.

"Don't believe me I don't care." Athena snorted.

Xhast kept looking at a small skull. He then tossed it out the window, and pulled out a small blue bottle.

"What are you doing?" Lori asked blinking.

Xhast showed it to her. "This is Alchemical elixir. This I cannot give, as I'd probably never find a bottle like that again. "he said.

"Why throw things out the window." Lori frowned.

"Useless bits I don't need out of my chest. "he said, holding up a small chest. "Wanna look? maybe there is something you want. I sure don't need half of it. "he said.

Lori sorted threw it using gloves just in case. Athena just watched them rolling her eyes a little.

Inside we're a bunch of valuable stones, and some enchanted trinkets. One item stuck out in particular: a shattered sword piece. It pulsed with power.

"What's this?" Lori held it up carefully.

"Nope. "He plucked it out of her hand. "That is a sword of Aeon's shard. With it, a person could bend the worlds demons to their will. It was split amongst the Demon Kings kin after the last war. I'm his nephew, so I recieves one."he said.

"Keep it demons is Athena's thing...aw she's asleep." Lori grinned at her sleeping friend "We're home. Hey come get your lover." she called making sure not to wake Athena.

Mordecai ran, and picked up Athena gently, as if she weighed about as much as a flower.

Athena mumbled snuggling against him.

Laying her down Gently on a Bed of Fur Skins, Mordecai curled up next to her, holding her close.

Athena woke later and blinked. "I took a nap." she yawned.

"Yes you did. "Mordecai said, kissing her head. "So what's up? Xhast said you wanted to talk to me. "he said.

"You know I'm pregnant." Athena grimaced. "But I won't get rid of the baby. At least not till I give birth."

"Believe it, or not, but I think you'd be a wonderful mother. "he said, kissing her. "I'll stay with you through the whole thing. I don't want to marry you for nothing. I love, Athena."he said.

"No marriage." Athena growled. "Or I'll vanish and you won't see me ever again. No I wouldn't be a good mother ask all my dead pets."

"Why am I not surprised about the pets? anyway, what do you have against marriage? Every time I've brought it up, you act like you want to rip my head off. Is there something I should know?"he asked.

"I don't like being tied down." Athena huffed.

"Being tied down? Isn't it pretty much open and shut with us?"he asked.
