" Alright." Athena took a deep breath " Come on Lori." she took the girl with her. Lori knew the way to the capital better then she did though she could have asked mordecai but she wanted to ask someone she liked. " Almost there." Lori said pointing the castle in the distance.

"So......Tell me about yourself, Athena. "Mordecai asked.

" Theres nothing much to know I was raised by a group of mages. I developed my powers early made my pact with Barthy at an early age." Athena shrugged " I live in the forest, I enjoy reading and practicing my magic I never knew my parents. Lori is my friend even though were opposites." Lori smiled at Athena taking her hand again " We're like sisters."

"Just as long as I'm not turned into a Toad, we are fine. "He said.

" neither of us can do that...Well I can put it takes a little time." Athena laughed " I can't do it at all I'm just a healing mage." Lori shrugged " You want to be changed though I will." Athena chuckled " Just take a little potion."

Mordecai handed Lori a book. It contained Healing Secrets used by the Warders, using the Natural elements to make.

" Oh thank you your majesty." Lori said grinning Athena watched her with a soft smile. Lori stopped " Guards." she pointed as a couple horses come up the road. Athena pulled her aside and they both kept the gaze on the guard.

Mordecai pulled out two arrows, and shot them both in the arm. They stopped, and fell off. "Sleep arrows. They'll be out for a long while......until then....."Mordecai stripped them both, and gave one of the armor sets to the male mage. "Come on. We gotta hide ourselves as her guards. "he said.

mordecai got up, and walked beside finx, to the castle. "This armor is too damn heavy. "he said.

Athena grinned at him " Well don't complain so loudly." she chuckled stopping in the entrance way " Who goes there?" a guard asked " Athena Bertholomew class three demonic mage daughter of the king or so I've been told." she held out the locket " This way." the guard lead the way Lori and Athena looked at each other then followed.

Mordecai followed behind, as did the other warders, and the three blademasters.

Sitting on the throne was a middle aged man with raven black hair and sea green eyes. Sitting next to him in the queens chair was a small woman with Green colored hair and black eyes around her neck she wore a gem of power the same color as Athena's when she saw Athena she paled. " Well my dear looks like our daughter has finally sought out her parents." he smiled at her. Athena stopped at the word parents she studied the woman " your my mom?" the woman nodded " oh do speak to our girl Clara." the man chuckled " As you wish matthew...my lord." she smiled at her daughter " Hello dear."

Mordecai walked beside Athena, bow drawn. He waited for Athena to finish.

Athena rushed forward plan forgotten as she hugged her parents finally she would get to know them. " I'm so glad I finally got to meet you both." she smiled happily. Clara smiled back gathered her daughter to her " I have missed you so." " Yes and you bring the lost prince with you." Matthew grinned at him " How very nice of you."

"Yes, How very Nice. "Mordecai said, dropping the Armor, and aiming at the man. "Athena. Move. Now. "He said, pointing it at the Man. The Blade masters were killing the Nearby guards, while the two Warders were blocking the Exits.

"Athena come stand in front of me." Matthew order and she complied blinked " What?" Athena looked to her mother who was looking away " You think I would not have planned for things. Of course I never really planned for this. You see the gem you carry is a powerful spell that makes your body do as I say." he grinned.

Mordecai Held his head, and everyone would stare hearing dark whispers. Suddenly, coming out from his body, the Form of a Demon Lord appeared.

"So foolish, are you human?......Would you think I would not have plans, set in motion?"

Clara dropped to one knee in the presence of a demon lord. " A demon protects him how interesting." Matthew chuckled " But the kingdom is mine."

"it was never yours. Your soul is mine now, Matthew. Face judgement."he said.

" I don't answer to demons my wife and child might but I am not a demon mage." Matt chuckled " Now do go away."

The demon approached finx, and grabbed the gem. He then crushed it in his hand.

Athena gasped gritting her teeth as her powers flooded threw her " uh." she gripped her head with one hand. Threw her swaying vision she saw Bartholomew appearing raging mad. " Do not touch my girl." he growled stepping in front of her glaring at everyone " Come Cherie you can control it." he took her hand " Destroy him.'' she pointed a hand at her father releasing a blast so powerful it knocked any human off there feet.

the demon looked at Barthy "we'll, wasn't that a bit much?"
