And Clint definitely agreed that Steve was absolutely the best calm feline influence. The were was settled in one of the arm chairs, curled up comfortably and watching whatever it was that was on TV for the night. He didn't seem the least bit concerned about anyone in the group at all.

Natasha looked at Steve for a few moments, debating giving Chloe another day or setting Steve on her the first night. Because as calm as Steve looked, Natasha knew he would be excited to have another cat in the family. Because lions were weird.

And Natasha had to admit she was curious as to what kind of cat Chloe turned into.

Steve was indeed excited to have another cat in the family, but he could wait until Chloe was a bit more comfortable. No need to descend on her on her first night in the haven.

It took a few days for Chloe to really settle in, but she finally did. It helped that they were all nice and no one demanded anything of her. No one had lied to her. As perplexed as she was, Chloe was also very grateful.

Athena was in and out of the haven day to day. She did have a job in the outside world in addition to being something of the welcoming committee, so she was out for part of the day during the week. She did make sure that she was in contact, though, just in case.

When word got out somehow about the haven, everyone got called in. Steve was the first to find out of the weres, and his eyes narrowed. Not many people knew, so someone had to have told the press. And that meant a traitor. Meaning he was not a happy kitty.

Chloe, for her part, had taken refuge in the rafters above her room.

Tony was livid. The haven was his thing, damn it, his place to protect. So all he wanted to do was find the traitor and mete out his own style of justice to them for endangering what was his.

Athena had been brought back in, as well, although she was being kept a little away from the others. Being a human with regular contact with the outside, she was naturally one of the suspects for the traitor. That didn't mean she had to like it, though. The haven was as much her home as the others.

Natasha and Clint were starting to question people, since Natasha could smell lies and they were both deadly intuitive. They both paused at Athena and exchanged looks, having a whole silent conversation before deciding not to single her out by not asking her questions.

"What do you know about this?" Natasha asked, her voice neutral as she watched Athena.

"Just what we all heard when everything happened," Athena said. She knew they had to question her, she didn't blame them for that. "Someone opened their mouth about the haven and it made it to the press."

"Where is it you work when you're not here?" Natasha asked. Because she was starting to have an idea, but she'd need to run it by Tony later.

"I'm a secretary," Athena replied. "The law firm in town, I run the front desk."

Natasha nodded. That could work well. "And you haven't told anyone about this place?"

"No, of course not," Athena replied, shaking her head. "I make sure not to mention anything about it."

Natasha nodded, since she could smell the truth in that. "Good," she said, looking at Athena a moment longer before she moved on. She was definitely going to have a chat with Tony later.

Tony, predictably, was in his workshop. He didn't particularly feel like interacting with the rest of the family at the moment, not when he was still so angry about the situation, so he was staying rather isolated.

Natasha went to go find him a little later, after she'd questioned all the workers. She didn't bother knocking, just letting herself in and finding a spot to sit and wait for a little while.

Tony barely glanced over when she let herself in, instead muttering over some little piece of tech in front of him. It looked like he had taken apart a few laptops, and was mixing and matching different pieces.

Natasha gave him a few minutes before she walked over there.

"I have a good idea who it was," she told him. "And I have a potential idea. Since we are going to need legal help with this."

"Well, out with it," Tony said. He wasn't in any mood to be his usual snarky self.

"Athena works for the local law firm," Natasha said. "Sean told a few people about the haven, likely friends, not out of malice but because he's a fool. You should call your fae friend and see if he knows any other lawyers."

"Then Sean will be dealt with," Tony said. Because he did not tolerate threats to his haven, no matter where they came from. And he would contact Zee and see what the other fae thought, but he wouldn't ask for help immediately. He wanted Zee's opinion first.

"Anything else you want us to do?" Natasha leaned against the wall, watching him for a few moments.

"Make sure everyone is being looked after," Tony said. "Keep an eye on Sean. Nobody leaves the property without a partner, just in case." And he would take a look at the wards and see about ramping them up where he could.

Natasha nodded and slipped out again, going to go keep an eye on people again. There weren't many workers at the haven, but that didn't deter her from keeping a close eye on all of them.

Athena curled up on one corner of the couch. She didn't disappear into her room, because she didn't want to be completely alone, but she wasn't making an effort to interact with anyone, either.

Steve was prowling around the building, and it was putting everyone a bit more on-edge than usual. Bruce was in the kitchen, making some tea for himself and anyone who wanted some.
