Athena glanced over, as well. It was always a good idea to pay attention when Natasha came into the room, and now even moreso because of everything going on.

Natasha dropped down next to Athena. "I need the names of any in your law firm you believe would be willing to work with us to make ownership documents in the next three days," she said without preamble.

Athena blinked at the sudden demand.

"Okay," she said. She patted down her pockets quickly and then started looking around the kitchen for a pen. She found one near the phone and wrote down a few names. "Here."

Natasha took the list, scanning it quickly. "They'll all be there tomorrow?" she asked, focusing on Athena again.

"They should be," Athena replied, nodding. "None of them have any court schedules tomorrow."

"Good. Phone numbers?" Natasha set the list in front of Athena again.

Athena obligingly wrote the numbers down, complete with extensions and fax numbers.

"Those go straight to them, so they don't have to reroute through my desk," she said.

"Perfect," Natasha said with a nod. "This will be very helpful."

"No problem," Athena said. She would let Natasha handle the calls; she still figured it would be best if her co-workers didn't know she was with the haven just yet.

Natasha took the list and headed back to Clint to report her findings.

Steve just snorted quietly, watching her go. "Looks like she has a plan."

"Looks like," Athena agreed. She smiled just a bit. "Good. That means things will get done."

Steve nodded. "Good," he agreed. "So we can try to relax. She'll tell us what she's planning eventually."

"We should probably start dinner, anyways," Athena mused. "Get some food made. That should improve people's moods too."

Steve nodded and stood, starting to pull things out of the fridge so they could start cooking.

Athena went to go help, putting things on the counter and getting out the utensils and such they would need. She enjoyed working with Steve; he was always so sweet, and he wasn't overbearing, at least not with her.

Steve set to work once they had everything out, directing Athena when necessary, but mostly they worked in companionable silence. Steve was pleased to note how much happier she smelled now.

Athena took the direction easily, and pretty soon they had a presentable meal on the table.

"That was kind of fun," she said as she set the serving dishes out. She knew nobody used the table to eat at unless it was a holiday of some sort, so she just set out a stack of plates and a bundle of silverware. "I think we did good."

"I think so too," Steve said with a grin. "Certainly smells good." The process of cooking had helped calm him.

"Even I can tell that," Athena teased. Going over to the doorway, she grabbed both sides and leaned out into the next room. "Dinner's ready!" she called.

Thor was the first to arrive, with Chloe trailing after him. Natasha and Clint were a bit slower to get food.

Athena took a quick mental headcount as Bruce followed Natasha and Clint.

"I'll go get Tony," she said, slipping out of the room.

Natasha snorted quietly. "He's on his way," she told Athena. "I bugged him when I heard you."

"Alright, thanks," Athena replied, going back to grab herself a plate. "I'll go nag him in an hour or so if he's not here by then."

Natasha nodded. "He should be here sooner than that," she said.

Chloe watched them all, looking at the dynamics between them all, though she stayed quiet.

"We'll see," Athena said as she sat down on the living room couch with her plate. "In the meantime, let's find something to turn on."
