Bruce, who fell asleep with Tony in his arms at some point during the movie, was already awake - he always woke up hours before Tony. He was in his study, working on his paper.

Tony went into the kitchen and started dumping his beer and all his other booze. He had found out that Bruce was working on his paper, though what it was about and for Tony didn't know. He had to admit it was nice not waking up hung over. Actually it was nice to get a full nights sleep. Normally he would only get an hour or two of sleep before the nightmares would come. He notice that it was ten in the morning. A good nights sleep indeed.

Bruce heard Tony moving around in the kitchen, finished the sentence he was working on and left his study. "Good morning," he said, smiling, as he walked into the kitchen. "Want me to make you some coffee?"

"Coffee sounds wonderful." Tony said with a smile as he dumped the last of the liquor down the drain. He knew that soon he'd be going through hell as his body went through withdrawal. "Should I make some breakfast?" He asked as he watched Bruce making coffee.

"I already had breakfast, thanks." Bruce said. He walked up to Tony and put his arms around his waist, leaning in for a good morning kiss. "Slept well?"

"Amazingly so." Tony said returning the kiss. "I'm going to join AA." He said nuzzling Bruce. "I know I can't get sober without help."

"That's amazing," Bruce said, squeezing him tighter. It really was. "You can do this." It wasn't going to be easy, but he was going to do his best to help. They will get through this.

"I couldn't do it with out you." Tony said pulling Bruce close. He knew it was going to be hell. He also knew that the newspapers were going to have a field day with this. "I should make myself some breakfast." He said, though eh doesn't let Bruce go.

"I can make it, if you want," Bruce said, smiling and not letting Tony go either. He slept well, too - there were nightmares, of course, there were always nightmares. But he managed to sleep through them, and he was feeling great today. And so lucky to have Tony in his life.

"I'd like that." Tony said with a smile still not moving. "So did you have any nightmares?" He asked his head on Bruce's shoulder. "If I did I don't remember them."

"I always have nightmares," Bruce sighed, still holding Tony. "They're just easier to handle when you're around."

"I'm glad I can help." He said with a smile. "Oh the media is going to have a field day with me attending AA." He paused for a moment. "I shouldn't go. It will be bad enough for you when they find out we're a couple. It would be even worse if I attend meetings."

Bruce hesitated, knowing Tony wasn't going to like what he had to say, then went ahead and say it. "Maybe you should see someone for one on one sessions? Instead of a support group?"

"It could still become a media circus. And I don't want you to have to go through that." He said touching Bruce's cheek. He wanted to protect Bruce as much as possible from the media. "Why don't we go out to lunch today. Something not to fancy. Maybe go for pizza." He thought that maybe that would be a better way to come out as a couple.

Bruce smiled. "Sure, we could do that." He still thought Tony should see a therapist - it didn't have to become a media circus. Bruce's therapist worked with SHIELD, and the whole thing was confidential... But they could talk about this later. "So, breakfast?"

"I'm sure I'd like whatever you made me." He said going to get the coffee that was finished. He took a drink of his coffee. He realized coffee tasted different when he wasn't hung over.

One of the reasons Bruce volunteered to make breakfast was just wanting to do something nice for his Tony. The other reason was that was a good way to make sure Tony's breakfast wouldn't be deep fried and/or coated in chocolate with cheese on top. He began making an omelette.

Tony drinks his coffee as he watched his boyfriend cook. "So what do you have planned for today?" He was doing his best to keep his mind of his craving for a beer.

"Nothing specific... I mean, there's the paper, but I've been working on it for hours." And without much progress. "I suppose we could spend the day together - anything you wanna do?"

"You," Tony said with a smirk but knew the Bruce wasn't there in the relationship yet. "I don't know, honestly know." He said, though he really truly wanted a drink. "We could go to Central Park."

Bruce, who couldn't help getting a little flustered when Tony made his comment, smiled. "Go duck watching? That works for me... I'm up for anything, really." He set the omelette and the salad he just finished chopping (getting Tony to eat vegetables wasn't easy, but if anyone could do it, it was Bruce) on the table and went to get a few more things from the fridge.

Tony glared at the salad. Salad for breakfast? Who the hell ate salad for breakfast. He put a bit of salad dressing on the salad and got himself more coffee before sitting down and eating. If anybody else had given him a salad he wouldn't have touched the damn thing. But he would do anything for Bruce. "We could also take a carriage ride."

"I always feel bad for the horses," Bruce said, sitting down across from Tony with a glass of water in hand. "It just doesn't seem right, you know?"

Tony smiled. He loved that about Bruce. That caring about all creatures. "Alright then, no carriage ride." He wondered absently about what the news was saying about his absence from the charity event. Though he's sure it was a big hit and raised lots of money.

"Sorry," Bruce muttered, taking a sip of his water. Tony still hadn't touched his food, but Bruce waited patiently. "We could still go to the park... Or anywhere quiet, really."
