"That's true." He said with a soft smile. "I saw a hotel not to far from here. We can hole up there for the night." He said with a smile as the two of them headed to the car.

Bruce followed him, remaining quiet - not letting go of his hand, but still looking around to make sure no one saw them. He entered the car. "So. Holing up."

"Yeah. As well as can be expected." he said getting in. "Look, I know you aren't comfortable with the world knowing about us... so I'll get you your own room." He said as he headed towards the hotel he had seen.

Bruce considered this for a moment. "Well, actually..." he muttered, "I think I could use some cuddling..."

Tony smiled. "Well we'll get two rooms anyways. That way it won't be as suspicious." He grinned.

Bruce returned the smile. "Thanks... Sorry." He looked out of the car's window, wondering what their team mates were currently up to. "Can you turn the radio on?"

"Nothing to be sorry for." He said flipping on the radio. He was a bit scared to hear what might be going on. He hoped their teammates were alright.

Bruce took a deep breath and closed his eyes, preparing for the worst.

While the Avenger's are rounding up the gang of bank robbers there are two of their number that seem to be missing. Iron Man and Hulk are no where to be seen. Luckily the rest of The Avenger's are able to handle this situation. Why aren't these two with the group?

Bruce sighed, curling up on himself a little. This really wasn't good. And bank robbers? Since when did SHIELD take on bank robbers? There had to be more behind this...

"They're probably super powered bank robbers." Tony commented as they drove. "Though they seem to have it under control." He pulled into the parking lot of the hotel.

Bruce got out of the car and did his best not to think about the team. "Do you know this hotel?" he asked Tony nervously, "Is it... Superhero friendly?"

"as far as I know it is." He said as they head to the front desk. "You aren't going to go green are you?"

"I'll do my best," Bruce replied humorlessly. He wasn't really in the mood for hulk jokes now.

"Sorry." tony said sensing Bruce's mood. It was there turn and Tony got them two rooms for the night. The news was on the t.v. and showed super powered badies robbing the bank and The Avenger's fighting them off. The team seemed to have done fine without Iron Man and Hulk.

There weren't many people in the lobby - and the receptionist had the decency to pretend not to recognize them. Good. Bruce stared at the floor, tapping his foot and trying to remain calm, while Tony booked the rooms.

Tony smiled as he took the keys. "Ready?" He asked handing Bruce a key with room 113 on it.

"Ready," Bruce mumbled and followed him into the hotel room, eyes still on the floor.

"i'm room 114... if you need anything." He said hating once more having to hide their relationship.

Bruce looked around. When he saw no one was there to see them, he followed Tony.

Tony smiled and opened the door to his room. He stepped aside to let Bruce in first. He was very tempted to pinch Bruce's butt as he walked past but managed to resist the urge.

Bruce entered the room. It was nicer than he expected - of course Tony wouldn't take them to some dump. So there they were... Waiting for the storm to pass, or something.

Tony closed the door and then pulled Bruce close kissing him. His body was shaking from withdrawal and he needed to be close to Bruce. Close to the man he loved with all that was he was.

Bruce wrapped his hands around Tony's waist, holding him tightly, kissing back. He noticed Tony was shaking. And this was after only one day of sobriety - what was he going to go through later?

Tony felt like a drink, but quickly put that thought out of his mind. He could do this, would do this. Though he knew it would be hell. He'd been drinking regularly since he had turned twenty one. Though right now he was seriously regretting his choice to get off the sauce, as it were.
