I have a screenshot :P It was taken for me, because all the massive HG drama went on while I was asleep and I never actually got to see the joke, as it had been removed from my avatar before I woke up. I got online to be hit by the aftermath from one particular disgusted and offended person. As I remember it was only really them who kicked up a huge stink about it.

Can't help feeling it was partly sour grapes too, as I'd been very firm about not wanting yaoi paddles for the avatars, and then there's my avatar, resplendent with her...addition. This person did a fair amount of bitching about the hypocrisy of staff behaviour. Some people got no sense of humour.

Menewsha is prone to occasionally get more mature than usual... like an anomaly of sorts.

Well, the majority of the dramas that hummy missed were just typical forum nonsense. People hating on staff for being (totally legitimately) banned, whilst denying it strenuously to all and sundry and turning people against us. That kind of blah.

Oh yes... back when mene was strict.
You had three kinds of people. The people who came back guns a blazin, the people who never came back, and the people who went "ah buzznuggets" and signed up again

Well, it's not even about it being when the banning practices were far more intense. We just had a lot of cheating arseholes back then. We don't now because hey, they got banned.

Also, because avatar sites aren't so popular any more, so aren't such a lucrative target any more, so things like offsite trading and so forth just aren't worth it these days. No-one's going to be trying to hack us for V Day pins that they then sell for $200 a pop, etc.

Pff... I wouldn't pay real money for an older item... what am I crazy? *slips money under the table*
