You might need to download some extra software to be able to run it on Chromebook but WoW is pretty fun... it's worth doing the 20 level trial account business since you're able to keep your account after it's over and you'll have escaped at least that much of the subscription fees.

The game itself is a bit dry to start with but if you stomach it out a few levels then it can be a lot of fun. Personally, I'm a bit more of a GW2 fan, but WoW has it's own merits.

I prefer WoW to GW2 myself XP After playing it through end game content, I know I personally wouldn't be content with the lvl 20 thing, even if it is free at that point. The game is beautiful, a bit childish looking, but still nice to look at. It can be as challenging as you want it to be; you can go to higher level areas or stay in low level areas to soak up xp; either way, it's nice.

I haven't been playing it for about a year now and I don't plan on starting up, partly because the people I played with are too scattered now. Not to mention I'm holding out for Elder Scrolls Online.
