Kerry watched them go and then moved over to Clint and tapped his arm.

"Might want to let go of that glass before it ends up in your hand," she said lightly, though her eyes were serious. Because clearly she'd seen that already.

Tony moved off to the side to pull up a screen and keep an eye on Loki via Jarvis for a while.

It took Clint a moment to relax enough to let go of the glass, but he did manage before he broke it. He set it down on the counter, harder than was strictly necessary. Then he left the room, muttering something about going down to the range for a while. He needed to shoot something.

Avery, on the other hand, was already on her tablet, going through all the files SHIELD had on Thor and Loki. She wanted to be as prepared as she could when it came to dealing with them.

Kerry let him go, knowing Natasha would keep an eye on him, and started getting all the necessary forms together so she could get a headstart on the paperwork.

"This was not in the job description," Avery muttered as she studied the files. "We need a raise for this."

"Talk to Coulson about it," Kerry said. "We can probably get one, actually." She hummed a little under her breath. "I think we're going to have to invent a few new forms again."

"And we'll need to adapt the What Did Barton Do? form again," Avery said, nodding. "It doesn't currently have 'shot a god in the face' as a ticky-box option."

"No, but we could put that under the Other option," Kerry said. "Would make things easier, unless he does it multiple times."

"On one hand, I really hope he doesn't," Avery said. "I don't want to clean up that mess. But on the other hand, it might just be extremely therapeutic for him if he did."

"Oh I think it would make him feel a lot better," Kerry agreed. "Maybe we can convince him to just shoot the god in the leg or something instead? That would be a lot easier on the clean up and dealing with section."

"Good luck convincing the god to let him," Avery muttered as she flicked through a couple of things in the files. "Muspellsheimr has a better chance of freezing over."

"Yeah, I know," Kerry said with a sigh. "But at least we're prepared now." She shook herself a bit. "We've got the forms ready, I know what we need to make still, and we've got the information covered. What else can we do to prep?"

"Tally up our good karma?" Avery said, mostly joking. "You want to go introduce yourself to Thor first, or should I? I figure one at a time might be better, this time."

"Yeah. Either way." Kerry shrugged. "Whatever you're more comfortable with. I'll go first if you want." It really didn't matter to her this time.

"Either way," Avery replied. She was quiet for a moment. "Actually, you can go first. I'd rather not face down a pair of gods quite yet."

"Alright." Kerry cracked her neck. "I'll see you in a few, then." She headed for the elevator to head down to Thor's level to talk to him. Hopefully this would go well.

"Good luck," Avery said.

Down a few floors, Thor was trying to settle back into his rooms. He had changed into casual Midgardian clothes, and he was trying to figure out what to do about his brother.

Kerry knocked on his door, waiting for him to open it. "Welcome back, Thor. I'm Agent Kerry Littleton. I'm currently working with this team to make sure everything runs smoothly, and I just wanted to introduce myself."

"Ah, of course," Thor said, nodding. He'd been told that there were new agents around. "I thought you had a comrade as well?"

"She's upstairs getting a bit more paperwork done first," Kerry said. "She sent me off to say hi first."

"I see," Thor said. He grinned broadly. "Thank you for the welcome, then. I hope to get better acquainted with you in time."

"I'm sure you will." Kerry smiled. "Is there anything I can do right now to help you settle in?"

"There is not, but I appreciate the offer," Thor replied. "Thank you."

Kerry nodded. "Just let me know if you think of anything," she said. "We'll both be up in the kitchen for a while longer."

Thor nodded and let her go about her business again. He still needed to see how his brother was settling in.

Loki, meanwhile, had moved into the room that was to be his but hadn't done much else. He was just surveying the room, his eyes slightly narrowed. He hadn't had a chance to study the humans before, but he did now, and he wasn't sure he liked this opportunity.
