Wow, a lot of changes! I know that fear and pressure. >__< I'm rooting for you! I know you want to get started right away, but I would recommend taking the extra time if you can. Once you start attending classes, it sucks your time and energy away so it helps to be as settled as possible before you start. I know plenty of people power through, but I know in my case the stress sometimes kicked my butt.

I also had a several-month gap between CC and university and started in the fall. It gave me some time to work and save money and since I started in fall with all of the freshmen from HS, there were a lot of services and orietation stuff set up to help us make the transition smoothly.

I'm sure you'll make things work, but don't worry about taking your time.

Oh, duh, right! You've told me about that Running Start program, it totally skipped my mind. Well, HS or not, that's still a significant change for you! I've just gone through some personal changes, you've moved out of country, started your career, and gotten engaged!

I read this post last night and have been thinking about what you said, and I think you're right. Even if I can get everything to work out right... I don't think that would really be best for me. Adjusting to living on my own (well, with a roommate, but still), a new job, classes, and a new campus would probably be more than I could handle all at once. So thank you. I think it would be best if I put university off until next fall and take the spring/summer semester time to get moved in and settled in... an entirely new life, essentially!
