I have this friend on skype, and we use to rp a lot and just talk.
His birthday is like..the day after mine or before so he only talks to me on that day
and ignores me for an entire year.

to be honest, I think people only say it[the people who don't pay attention to you]
to earn brownie points and get a reward out of it besides a thank you.
But that's just me thinking that.
