I haven't been to a zoo in ages , but I used to really enjoy going to them because they'd have odd things you could touch or pet. Like this one I went to on a school trip had a type of sting ray we could touch but most of the class didn't want to put their hand in the water to do so xD

I don't go that often, but I do enjoy taking pictures of animals, they give me a challenge. :] Which is always fun! I hope to at least get a few good pics. ^_^
I've not yet been to the zoo down here though, from what I can see, based on how many more animals it has, and the size of the map they have online... it's way bigger than the one up near home.
I know the Monterey Bay Aquarium has some Sting Rays that you can touch - I remember loving that when I was younger. :)
When I went to Australia, there were some Wallabies that you could go in with and feed, that was totally awesome! :D

We won't be able to feed them - plus in Zoos... they really discourage feeding the animals. I'll just take pics instead. :)

Haflingers are miniature drafts - so basically a Belgian but smaller. :] So short and stocky.

I used to work with a Friesian - and omg he was a handful, but omg so gorgeous!

I never realized there were so many different breeds of horses!

I haven't been horseback riding in like...9 years
I miss it :(

I've not been riding in like 6 years. :/ I went from riding all the time to not at all, and omg, I'm having withdrawls. :(

I have only ridden a pony maybe once...and for a few minutes. Would love to learn horse riding ! As dangerous as it seems.

If I wasn't so stubborn about how I fight during medieval re-enactment I could go riding every other weekend at fighter practice but I don't want to learn how to fight with a sword and shield. I'm perfectly happy with my claymore
And since a 2h doesn't really work out the best on top of a horse...I use my own two feet :P

Anything in life is dangerous, if you're cautious, aware of your surroundings and able to assess things, you'll be fine! <3 I took riding lessons from 11 to 20, and then I was an Equine Major for a year and a half after that, riding 12 to 15 hours a week.

Eh, I don't mind so much. I'm one of two members in our group that uses a 2h weapon and the only one that's decent enough to compete in tourneys so that's another huge reason why I refuse to switch. Everyone else uses various weapon + shield combo's and I just don't want to no longer stand out xD
