We get a lot of folks from Gaia. I must respectfully disagree that Gaia is turning to crap. It's been crap for years. I walked away from it in 2008 because of it's rude, spammy and disrespectful environment.
Mene is essentially it's polar opposite being pretty much the kindest avatar community there is.
There are plenty of artists here, I am sure you will find something to your liking.

I joined Gaia in early 2010 (I was like, eleven or ten? Makes me fourteen now.) and it was actually still kind of decent but...idk. Depends on where you go to in the forums on there. Mene so far has seemed very nice uvu I'm probably going to use it for a few days so I can get used to it before I start opening any art shops though >.>

I still have a few requests to finish on Gaia though before I start thinking about doing anything on here. dlkfg art is one of those things that I like doing for people uvu its fun and an easy outlet + a good way to earn money whether it be virtual or real.
