Oh my gosh, that is TERRIBLE! Sounds like the Sinhalese Buddhist are pretty scary. Which is a shame because proper Buddhism is beautiful.
I hope that you stay safe sweety. *hugs*

Lex: Thanks sweetie! I wish that my hubs was ok with me sharing more than the first picture that I shared with y'all. He's super picky about pics of the kids being online. :( He knew I wouldn't let up about the first pic, because I knew that y'all would at least want to see a pic of her.

Haha, silly girl. Gotta love it when they're happy.

My mum enjoys spending time with them - I know that she wishes that my brother lived closer because she doesn't get to see her grandson as often as she'd like to. :)

Haha, yeah! It's times like those that I just have to smile and nod and act like I can understand what she's saying because there's no way that I'll get her to slow down when she's that excited.

It's all because of those Burma monks. They killed thousands of Muslims. Burnt babies alive. And those monks have come here tsk tsk, bad influence
Wouldn't grandmama be able to stay at your place?
---------- Post added 05-16-2014 at 11:48 PM ----------
And I did not mean to offend anyone out there, I'm simply scared for the lives of me and my family

She could, but they only live like 45 minutes from us, and the last time she stayed with us - I remembered why I was glad that I don't live at home. I get along with them alright, but living together, yeah - we're both super head strong women, who tend to differ with opinions.

I assumed the area you lived in was predominately Muslim and you were safe. That is extremely bizarre - and I have to wonder why we aren't hearing news about it in the US. Praying you and other girls remain safe and those who were kidnapped are found safe and returned to their families.
The saga here continues with the land, but we are waiting to hear back from the bank's lawyer with whatever their offer is for us to remain here. I spoke with a lawyer who seems rather eager to work on my case, but I may need other residents to join in or I will have to pay for the lawyer on my own. Waiting for now and enjoying the cooler weather. Hubster spoke with one of his managers and his employer will be able to provide an interest-free loan if we either have to relocate to a rental or, if we have more time before leaving (again, if it is necessary) enough for a down payment for a house. We've been looking at rental properties and lease/rent-to-own options in addition to homes on the market to purchase.
Regardless of how much we paid for the land through owner-financing, I suspect the bank will likely only consider how much they received in payment from the owner. Yes, I am angry and frustrated, but we have options that may work out better for us in the long run.
Apologies for not reading through and commenting on other posts, but I am popping on and off of the site when I have a moment to just sit down and breathe

Alright, LiviInLove:
CONGRATULATIONS ON FINALLY HAVING BABY SOPHIA!
SURPRISE! This is a little party we're all throwing for you! I know you may not be able to make it on much. We know you're tired, but we have a few things to show you.
First, here is a card we made for you:
Also, when you're able to get on long enough (at the same time I am at least), we have presents for you to open!
We all love you so much and we are so happy that baby Sophia has finally decided to come into the world.

I don't think any of my music is appropriate for a baby welcoming party.

I eat the bread sometimes (I only eat the tres leches or chocolate), but I hate the frosting about 99.99% of the time while my sister is the opposite. xD
I love cookies! All kinds of cookies minus Sugar cookies.
