I totally agree with you - It really makes it so that Alex can help with feedings and take over at times. :] It really is a lifesaver for sure!
He really is a great man. ^-^ Although I'm wondering when he's going to come for me to help him with something. We'll see how this goes and hopefully I get over this stupid sickness soon.

I'm glad that you had a blast! That does sound exhausting but fun.

I can imagine it's not terribly comfortable. And of course, it doesn't provide the same bonding experience. But definitely a good thing to have around.
Haha, well, hopefully, he'll figure everything out on his own.
Yeah, I'm definitely going to be recovering for a couple of days.

It isn't super comfortable and we only use it when we absolutely have to - but for times like these, I'm in love with it.
So far, so good! Only been half a day - well last night as well. But haha, that's a plus. He was up with Sophia during the night with bottles that I prepped before I passed out last night.

I bet!!

I am feeling better (a bit not 100% normal though) so the hubs called in reinforcements - aka my mum - to help with the girls today, so I don't over do it. I should be back to normal hopefully by tomorrow. Hopefully.

I know it sucks being under the weather, but on the bright side, you do get a little extra rest, at least... And some extra help.

Yeah, I really do wish I know what knocked me off my feet like this. :/
So I know to avoid it in the future.
I'm 90% sure it was something I ate on Saturday.

Forced rest seems to be the only way to get me to actually rest lately.

Hopefully mum doesn't drive me too insane today. The last time she was here at the house to help with Becca (before Sophia was born), she just about drove my stress levels through the roof. So hopefully today goes smoother.

I've a friend what's got a stomachy bug, and as far as I can tell, he's had it since he got back from Mainland China. I'm worried it might be some sort of amoeba or something... Every time he eats, he can only keep a little of it down, and I'm horribly worried for him...

I hope you at least feel better soon, even if you can't identify what laid you low... And thank god or whatever the little ones are alright!

Oh, gosh!! O.o Has he gone to see a doctor about it? How long has that been going on? I hope that he'll be ok!!

Thank you hon! Yeah, I'm glad that the girls, and my hubs are feeling ok. ^_^
Seems like Sophia and Becca both haven't inherited my lactose intolerance, which is a major plus!

Gor, not doing milk must be awful...

I don't think I'm supposed to do much of it myself, but I still do...

And yeah, I want him to go to a doctor, but there's not much money, he's fresh back from China and not on any sort of assistance with health care, and he's a guy.

Men are notorious for toughing it out when they should be getting help.

I think it's some sort of pride thing, like fear of looking weak. It's biology and society at work at the same time, and it's awful. They need to get over that stuff, and just do what's necessary.

It's better to avoid it, because milk makes me feel all yucky. :(

Money is always an issue and ugh, yes... guys and their not wanting to ask for help, even when they need it.
I have lots of talks about that with my hubs.
And both my brothers were exactly the same way.
It really is some sort of "must not ask for help, I can do this all on my own". *pokes them all*

Maybe if they realized that even Superman is useless to anyone if he's dead, they'll get it, finally.

"I'm fine, I can provide for a woman and children like a pioneer man, and I don't even fear my own death!"

"Yes, dear, but maybe I do..."

"Aw, bugger, you're right, how silly of me, I'll go get the brain tumor removed right away, love!"

You know, it might even work...

But yeah... prolly not.

xDD You never know though, guilting the man into trying to get medical help sometimes does work.
My hubby is better trained - kind of - but oh dear me, he's such a HUGE baby when he's ill.
Thankfully he rarely gets sick, so it's not an issue most of the time.

I'm glad I can handle sick as well as I do... I think it comes from having learned to make myself sick, really.

I was one of those troubled youths people talk about.

Still don't like being ill, though...

And yeah, for being so big and strong, when they fall they fall hard, don't they?

I still remember a friend screaming me out of his house because when I went out of my way to come over and go out and buy medicines and all, I got the wrong kind of orange juice.

I left him to tend to himself until he was better, and he still hasn't apologized.

It's like in his mind it never happened.

Who does like being sick though? I can handle it, and don't really complain, unless I'm horribly ill.

Oh, I dislike people like that -when you go out of your way to help them and then all they do is complain because it's not perfect. :/

Ugh, I need sleep soon, but apparently I have to run errands first...

I'm glad we got to hang for a bit, and become better friends (I think we did at least)!

And I'm looking forward to next time, as well.

Good day everyone, or night, or... yeah.

And get well soon!

I hope that your errands went smoothly!!
And that your sleeping came fast and you sleep well!
I'm glad we got to as well!

See you around! I fell asleep earlier, and ended up dozing till just a bit ago.
Thanks hon, I hope so too.

Glad you're feeling a bit better, Livi!
Vera, I hope your friend gets some medical attention soon! Until them, force him to drink Pedialyte or something similar.

Now I'm sick too. My brother-in-law got sick at the end of the wedding. We thought maybe it was all of the Indian food we'd been eating. But now my sister and I both have it, so it's looking like it's a legitimate illness. Luckily it seems to be a two day kind of thing. Fingers crossed it's that way for me, too. I got almost no sleep last night and I'm half living on the toilet. Yay.

Yeah, not quite back to 100%, but I'm definitely feeling better than yesterday, that's for sure!!

Awww! :( I do hope that it's only 2 days for you!! That doesn't sound fun at all!
Hopefully you sleep better tonight, hon!

I hope tomorrow you get back to 100%. I'll bet it's a lot harder being sick with the little ones.
And thanks. I definitely would prefer not to be up with nausea all night. Pepto Bismol doesn't work for CRAP on this stuff. I can take extras of my allergy pills and they work a little bit (side benefit of Atarax). But it doesn't take away the sensation that any minute now, you're going to throw up.

Yeah, I'm hoping so too! Thankfully mum was able to come over - she's getting ready to leave to head home as soon as Alex gets home - and he should be home soon, he's just picking up some take out from a favorite restaurant so he doesn't have to deal with cooking tonight.

Hopefully the nausea will stay at bay tonight and leave you alone!! I hate that feeling!! It sucks!

I've been eating rice and ginger ale in hopes that it will help.

Oh, I'm glad too! I would have had to pull myself out of bed today if I didn't have my amazing list of people that we can call for help if we need it. That wouldn't have been very fun.

Hopefully that helps!

What's worse than a house invaded by gnats? A house invaded by gnats, spiders, and non-flying bugs you've never seen in your life. *sarcastic grin*

And so there goes my day of hopes and dreams, which I must spend bagging up and boxing my things more tightly so stuff that crawls can't get into it! At this point, it's not even about being scared. It's about not pulling out things and finding BUGS.
/I had two boxes against each other, okay?
/I pulled one box away, and…
/THERE'S A BIG BUG WHAT THE OIKJSD;

Livi: It does make things a lot better to have help.
The air conditioner is STILL being installed and they're doing it all weird and mom is all pissed off and it's stressing me the hell out. This is not helping the tenuous tummy.

Amane: Oh man, more bugs. Poor thing. Maybe the spiders will at least eat the other bugs? The bugs can get between the stuff no matter what. It's just going to happen. But they won't be IN your things at least. Do you have those vacuum bags?
