I'll bet it's hard not to get angry sounding at Becca when something like that happens. I always make "angry at the heavens" noises when I do it to myself. And little ones don't necessarily understand the difference between "I'm frustrated with the situation" and "I am actively angry at you".

I'm finally feeling better after a stomach virus triggered some other issues for me last week. It's nice to feel human again, and you have my sympathies

I made it through my first day back today. I have so much freaking grading to catch up on.

Pace yourself, my friend. The kids and powers that be know you've been out sick and not partying in Disneyland.

But the six weeks ends this week. It HAS to be graded! And my kids need time to make things up!

I felt a little better yesterday, but have a migraine today and that funky sinus infection smell in my nose. Ugh. to top it off I have to go to the dentist and get a tooth filled today.

Heh, thanks Elmira. I did get some good news that I don't have to balance my grades this six weeks, so I can just let some things go ungraded. Thank god.

Well turns out I had two teeth that needed filled. xP So I made him do it while I was there. No way he'd get me back in there. Better to do it while I'm there and already numbed up.

Feeling better today, though my nose is snotty and my teeth are kind sore. Bleh. One good thing is it will be cooler today and I can wear pants to my classes, hurray! I'm ready for pants and jacket/sweater weather.

Steel - that is a relief!!

llonka - I'm glad you were able to get the cavities filled! I know in the short-term the aftermath is painful, but no more pain from the cavities! I second that emotion about autumn weather. The weather gurus are forecasting anything from mid-80s today and into tomorrow to thunderstorms tomorrow and anywhere from a 10-30 degree drop in temperatures by Sunday. It would be cool if they could all agree, but I've already pulled out my crazy sock collection and am wearing them!

Citrus: Our weather is doing the same. And I am all temperature fluctuate-y so that is NOT helping anything.

I'm so sick of warm weather. It's October for crying out loud! But today the high for us is only 65F and right now it's 48, so the boys will have to find their jackets.

Let's go to *list of places I can't stand*" And of course, she wins because she's older and lives out of town now and these people take this "family time" thing too seriously. *AGGRESSIVE CRANKYING*
