Oh man, I love the BBC. What shows do you like the most?

Haha, oh man, Otto sounds like my sister.

He is very interesting. It was very hard not to laugh, but... no you may not be the evil genius here. That's my job.

He's also started saying "I command you to do..." The first time he said it, I thought "Your training is complete. Welcome to the Dark Side of the Force". When I was pregnant with him I constantly heard the Darth Vader's theme song.

I'm watching a show called New Tricks. It's about some older retired police officers who were recruited to solve unsolved murders. Lots of old person jokes.

Hahaha, oh man. He is totally a little evil genius! Too bad you can't just let him be that.

That sounds hilarious. I love British humor.

True. I am pretty sure he won't wind up being a total sociopath, but he is pretty devious already. Totally my kid.

Which BBC shows do you like?

I'm fond of Doctor Who, I love their documentaries, and weirdly, Top Gear. I don't even like cars, but I love watching those guys.

What do you think of this outfit?

Love it! Is the cami the new cucumber color? It's beautiful with the other colors!

Love Doctor Who! Late husband was wayyyy into the show, but we never seemed to have it available at our house (pre-cable days of yore). For me, it's very sentimental in a good way to watch it now and gives our daughter some insight into his zany sense of humor. He was also a Python fan and I bought her Holy Grail for her birthday one year. We watch it on his birthday :)

Thank you! And yes, the cami is the cucumber color. I freaking LOVE this color!

Awww, your husband sounds like he was pretty awesome. Doctor Who and Monty Python are some of my favorites. That is so sweet of you to give her a way to understand her father like that. You seem like a pretty awesome person. :D

I have my moments. Sometimes I can be difficult to live with like most people. Right now, I feel like I'm experiencing sensory overload with the pace in the forums, so I need to step back a bit. The early morning disruption is affecting me pretty badly.

Well, I discovered that although hubster made sure he ate, started the dinner, and made (mostly for himself) something to eat again before bed, he did not make sure Otto ate. Didn't make Otto breakfast... and he did this yesterday as well. I am not looking forward to the conversation ahead of me today. If he did not have to work today, I would have woken him up to rant. First time in weeks I've been able to sleep in and I expect the other adult here to act like a parent.

I almost fell out of bed the other day from laughing so hard while watching Top Gear! Dangerous show! XD Hammond reminds me of Tennant.

So true! Haha, and yes, he totally does remind me of Tennant too now that you mention it!
Those guys are just the funniest dudes ever. I have no idea what they're talking about half the time with cars, but I just die laughing at all the ribs and jokes they make.

I'll check that out again on hulu! It's usually on BBC America when the kids are up, so I've missed seeing it!

I know hubster has been worn out from working, but he's had a few days off... good news is I am not grumbling. Bad news is I think I mangled my back when I was playing with Otto yesterday. Picking up a wiggly 40lb kid is not always a good idea. It was fun though!

He is a smaller Tennant.

They really are! It's dangerous to try to drink and watch them at the same time. The other day I watched one - I can't even remember which one it was, and I was laughing so hard, I nearly peed myself... XDD And Alex came in to ask me if I was ok, because he could hear me laughing from the living room - I was in the bedroom - and I was laughing so hard I couldn't even tell him I was ok. xD

Elmira: mangled backs are no fun! :( Mine has been acting up lately too - I really could go for a bath. Now to convince my hubby that it is ok for me to take one and he needs to come and help me out when I'm done. xD LOL

You should totally try to catch it. :) Yeah, being worn out doesn't excuse not feeding the child.
Oh gosh, kids can be such murder on the back. When I was subbing a couple of days in a row for a special ed kindergarten class (as a favor for a friend) and two of the aids were gone, I had to help restrain the kids when they were acting up. Not hard restraint, I'd just pick them up and sit in a chair with them, holding them in a way where they couldn't kick or bite me. But OH MY GOD my back was KILLING ME for a week after that.

Oh gosh, the episode where they had to make a Volkswagen commercial has to be one of my favorites. And the one where they keep making fun of Jeremy for forgetting the lights are in the car and banging his head against them. SO FUNNY.

Now I really do need to watch that show again if it makes people laugh like that!!

I have two old injuries and the weirdest things set them off. I'll be fine for months, reach down to tie a shoe, and practically collapse. I need to start exercising again because it helped.

Have you seen the Nuclear Winter Apocalypse one? I think it was a special. I watched that one, oh, I can't remember when, but omg, I was in stitches of laughter! Although when are they not hilarious? I told mum that she needs their old person's car. Her response "Olivia! I am not that old yet! I don't need that car! I'm not that bad!"

---------- Post added 04-20-2014 at 02:55 PM ----------

Elmira: It is worth it! I'm not huge into cars either, but it's the best show!

Ouch! That doesn't sound like fun, especially if you don't know what will set it off! D:

The back stuff is very weird and I'm glad my family is a bit more understanding about my limitations than I am at times!

I like car shows, but that one has not really appealed to hubster because it's not on a channel he watches. I'm going to record a few on the DVR and see if it interests him as well.

Back problems are seriously tricky. They are SO hard to rehab and rework those muscles without straining. Luckily most people do understand back problems.

Steel: I think it's one of the more recent ones. I am not sure though. It's only with Hammond and May and they keep testing out different scenarios some of which are bloody hilarious!

Elmira: Back problems are tricky, but yay - that's great that they're understanding. :]

About sixty pages. And then I have to view a narrated powerpoint. I hate those. Just put the damn information down and I can read it faster than you can say it. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't all early childhood stuff.

The worst narrated powerpoint was for a resume writing module in my final class for grad school. I knew the professor was a total loon before seeing this thing, but she used examples from past students. With their names on it!! She would pause and tsk and tut through the whole thing. I was initially furious, then I remembered just what this lady is like in person and laughed. Still, that was the least painful one of those powerpoint atrocities I've had to see.

OH! One was with my advising professor and it had a few views of the other tabs open on his browser. I learned that he likes petite women and frequents quite a few different dating sites. Could not be unseen.
