Steve nodded slowly. He could kind of understand that. Kind of. In theory.

"I see," he murmured. "So is it what you actually want to live off of, or a hobby, or both?"

"Both, I suppose," Chastity said. "It's useful, and it's something I can set up shop with and make some money off of."

Steve nodded. "Good," he said. "That you have something you can do and live off of and enjoy. Not everyone enjoys their work, so I'm glad that you do."

"What about you?" Chastity asked. "Any plans at all?"

"Just my art," Steve said with a shrug. "I'll find somewhere else to work." It wouldn't be as nice but he could do just about any job to pay the bills.

"I'm sure there are places that are looking for someone with art skills," Chastity said. "Or even graphic design, if you felt like going into that."

"Maybe. I've thought about it. I'll take a few classes first and see if I like it." Steve shrugged. "I'll figure something out. I'm not too worried."

Chastity nodded. She grinned a bit. "So, um... My class schedule has me free most evenings, and my weekends are open," she offered after a moment. "If you have some free time, maybe we can... make plans?"

Steve blushed a bit but smiled. "I'd like that," he agreed. "My schedule is pretty open too right now."

"What about Saturday?" Chastity suggested, blushing a bit herself. "I'm heading out to one of the local farms in the morning to source some fleece, but I should be done with that by noon."

Steve grinned, also blushing. "Well, if you want, we could grab some lunch and maybe head out to the ocean. There's an area I like to go to, it takes a bit of doing, but it's worth it."

Chastity smiled.

"Sounds like fun," she said. Quickly, she scribbled her apartment address on a napkin. "Pick me up here, say noon-ish?"

Steve grinned. "Sounds good," he agreed. "Saturday, noon-ish, here." He tapped the napkin.

Chastity grinned.

"Right," she said. "I'll make sure to bring plenty of sunblock, if we're going to the beach. I'll roast if I don't."

Steve chuckled. "It should be warm but not hot, fortunately," he said. "But yeah, sunscreen might be a good idea, just in case."

Chastity nodded.

"I'm looking forward to Saturday, now," she said, smiling at him.

"Me too." Steve smiled back. He was even doing pretty well and hadn't stuck his foot in his mouth. Yet.

Chastity jumped a little when her phone went off. She checked it and sighed.

"That would be my reminder for class," she said. She finished her coffee and slipped her phone into her pocket again, then stood up.

Steve stood as well. "If I don't see you on campus tomorrow, I'll see you Saturday," he said, smiling at her.

Chastity nodded.

"Of course," she said. She smiled, and then stood up on tiptoe to quickly drop a chaste kiss on his cheek. Then she grabbed her bag and headed out, blushing brightly.

Steve stood there for a moment, surprised, before he smiled slowly and made his way back to the apartment.

The next day, Bucky made his way to the coffee place. He was a bit early, but that was alright with him. He didn't want to keep Rea waiting.

Rea, in contrast, was not quite late, but only if one was generous with a minute or two.

"Sorry, didn't mean to keep you waiting," she said when she saw Bucky. Once again, she'd made the effort to change her shirt into something clean, but not her pants. This time they were stained with shades of blue and green.

"No worries," Bucky replied. "I've only been here for a couple minutes." He grinned at her a bit.

"Oh good." Rea grinned. "Glad to know I didn't keep you waiting, at least. Have you gotten yours yet?" Because today was definitely a coffee day, although she'd switch to tea after a cup or two.
